Hi can somebody enlighten me, is it true that once shadowlands hit, there will be no need to grind the rep & you can just play a void elf right away? Thanks!

some people say you’ll only need revered, others say they’re available from the start, i don’t know for sure
It was datamined that the exalted requirement was removed in SL alpha but I would not take that as confirmed until there’s blue post or an interview

You will still need to do the argus quest chain but the rep will be removed.

The rep requirements will be removed in the 9.0 pre-patch, but you still need to do the story quests and unlock scenarios to get them.
Supposedly the exalted requirement is removed, but that doesn’t mean other requirements won’t be there.
I’ve heard nothing about the story requirements so those still need to be done. You can’t escape that part.
Edit: I was wrong. Rep seems to be gone.

As I understand it, once shadowalnds hit’s you won’t have to do rep grinds but there will still be some prereuisites; for LFD and Rendorei you’ll need to still complete the introduction quest and that might be only possible at a certain level threshold.
For the BFA races it’s a little less clear; I suspect you’ll still need to do parts of the storyline in order to unlock the recruitment quests but the rep should be gone.

From my understanding, the reputation requirement is just going away and all that’ll be required is story progression. So you’ll still have to do the main story line and see how they came to be, but other than that, you should be fine.

If the exalted requirement is gone, that still means you have to run through the questline.
You still gotta do the story requirements. The rep requirements will be gone, though.
