No nameplates with "fresh" UI

I was not having friendly nameplates, default or otherwise in instances while I have nameplates just fine out in the world. In instances, I was receiving a large (due to having large nameplates enabled via Interface), grey version of the player’s name sans guild info ie: Fogargan-Illidan.

Naturally I renamed my Cache, Wtf and Interface folders and restarted my game. Now, I have blue coloured names but still no nameplates.

I am attempting to follow Blizz’s guide on resetting the UI and am getting an error when I try “%localappdata%\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft” in the Run option on my Windows 10.

Please see screengrab for a better understanding. My last ditch will be to reinstall the game which is something I would sorely like to avoid.

V toggles enemy nameplates
SHIFT-V toggles friendly nameplates
CTRL-V toggles both

You’ll also want to set them to always display. Believe it’s under interface > names.

Also, nameplate addons do not affect friendly nameplates while inside dungeons due to changes in 7.1.
