Blizzard thought “they knew” just like you said when they announced proudly they wanted to take away flying and probably there were players like you who heralded this as the best and told people to get over it. Funnily enough it introduced Pathfinder as they had no choice but to bring back flying after the community backlash.
So you never know, if there’s a backlash against this useless walking feature…
It’s not changing. They built the Maw around the idea that you have a limited amount of time there and that it’s a dangerous place to be. They aren’t going to throw all of that out the window just because some lazy players can’t be arsed to run around for 20mins and throw a hissy fit because they can’t rush through a key area of the game.
The entitlement of this community is absurd sometimes.
There really isn’t much on that talent row. Not sure if SL is making changes but I can drop three feathers to share so like I said come hang out with a priest!
No mounts in the Maw? Even though it’s somewhere we have to visit over and over again, even when we’re done farming anima there? (IIRC Torghast is in the Maw). I guess restricting flying during half an expansion isn’t enough. Have to outdo themselves somehow, I guess.
Except Blizzard half got what they wanted with pathfinder, instead of letting the players keep the status quo (as we should have been able to). We don’t get flying for half an expansion. In Legion’s case we had it for four or five months before we were effectively stripped of it again when Argus couldn’t be flown in. In Shadowlands we’re being effectively stripped of it partially even after we get it because the devs have very firmly stated they don’t intend to ever have flying in the Maw, even if they allow mounts.
