No more resubs

Your game is broke and you dont want to fix it. No more money from me…

Some people cant spend 8 hours a day playing this. For those of us that cant impossible to compete for anything decent.

Too many classes can one shot somebody in under 2 seconds. This game is awful and I’ll money else where.

If the way YOU play WoW isn’t fun for YOU, then you should stop paying for it and playing it.

Blizzard can’t please everyone. Their attempt pleases some of us, but there are many players that hate it.

So it is awful to you, not to everyone. But that’s all that should matter to you. Good luck on finding something that’s better (to you).

Your rudeness is not necessary. The majority of players have already quit since Shadowlands launched, so why do you want to neg another dissatisfied player by saying “it’s just YOU”? Do you seriously estimate that he doesn’t understand that? You should be thankful he at least took the time to express WHY he’s dissatisfied.

Using hyperbole does not help your case.
OP mentioned you have PvP issues, have they posted on the PvP forums or do they have specific examples ?

Cya. Don’t let the browser closing hit you on the way out.

I am not the OP. Also, it’s not a hyperbole, it’s what some statistical evidence suggests.

lol “the majority”.

No, the majority have not stopped playing, no matter what GD would have you believe.

Can i have your stuff?

what statistical evidence ? as there is no accurate population data where are you getting this ?

The main statistic I am interested in is the unusual pattern of Twitch views of WoW nosediving exactly 1 month after Shadowlands launched. This is a pattern that is not seen in any other popular game, and the only explanation I can think of is that interest died down when most players decided it was not worth renewing after trying for the first month. Can you think of an alternate explanation for this phenomenon? You can see this on any site that tracks viewers per game.

WoW classic launch had a smooth decline, and so did BFA and major patches.

Shadowlands is most likely unique due to many more people willing to give it a shot due to the pandemic, which in turn leads to a ton of people realizing it’s not worth it.

Maybe he means Majority of the players on his server have quit

I literally mean the majority of people who were subbed at Shadowlands launch are now gone. There is no way to know for sure, since sub numbers are hidden probably exactly for the reason that it would be embarrassing. We can only judge via proxy stats.

World quests areas are getting more and more full lately so using my random data point like you did with twitch stats would show the exact opposite.

See I can use random data to support my argument too. Amazing how easy that is when there is 0 actual data.

So you have no source and are just pulling stuff from between your chair and waist.

That’s not a stat. You realize you are in a shard, right?

Neither is twitch viewership, how many watching the game has nothing to do with how many are playing the game.

The only people that have the data on how many people are playing is Blizzard and they are not sharing.

No, Twitch viewership IS a stat. It’s a proxy stat that coincides with player interest in the game. So can you name a reason why it might fall off? Also, what is your background in stats? Did you take stats? How about econometrics? The only reason I ask is because what you are saying does not make sense, statistically.

It’s a 16yr old game, people are playing more than watching currently, twitch viewership for MMOs has been dropping for years, etc. etc. etc. …

Twitch isn’t “the game”.

people who play, are IN the game.
they’re not spending their time watching other people play.
