Just logged in today 10/16/2020, after having played the first few days of the Shadowlands pre-patch without this current problem. When double jumping I immediately go into glide instead of hitting space bar twice for added height, before hitting it a third time to glide. This appears to limit my speed/traveling capabilities. Is this a currently known issue or a change to the mechanics?
For me, it’s still Jump, then jump into a somersalt, then jump into a glide.
one thing, I’ve never tried to spell somersalt before, lol.
edit: and when I try this, I usually end up using a glider, cause this is my Hunter.
Except gliding after a single jump is faster than double jumping and then gliding
Mine did that immediately after pre patch but has since cleared up. I’m thinking it should fix itself for you.
ok. there is double jump and there is glide… Different abilities. Glide cannot be initiated while grounded.
