Aww that sucks need to see my monk stuffs
well i guess my shaman tree won’t suck since they are actually putting more time into right guys?
More class previews was the only thing i cared about… but at least they showed some of the Drachtyr abilities.
Funny how Wowhead has a char in the Alpha named Wowhead. xD
Agreed, it is disappointing.
If your class plays like trash nothing else matters, your class is the one constant in all the different content they make, it has to feel right.
At least they let us have the Drachtyr trees… which is kinda annoying showing them before the classes everyone mains. But at least i have something to click.
P.S. This is going to hint at how the DH trees will be!
Are we really losing anything with no more class previews though? I mean, I expect them to rotate which classes will be focused on from build to build in the alpha, and eventually that means the classes we haven’t seen yet will be the focus. At that point we simply open up our talent menu and learn everything we would have from a preview.
Now that the alpha has started, class previews are a bit redundant.
Same here
I’m just waiting to see how bad the DH trees are.
Taking bets on glide costing a point.
It makes sense to let them focus on some classes first before others
You will get your warlock Dragonflight talent preview in time
Looks at last half dozen xpacs where shaman were left 'till the end of testing to get a build, then pushed to live without fixing the issues found in testing because there wasnt enough time left in the development cycle, but “x.1, x.2, x.3, ‘next xpac’ will fix it”…
Ya, you’re probably right
Yes… i want to see how the paladin trees work.
They will change but it gives the general idea of what the final product will have.
And it allows for feedback on them early.
You’re assuming the rest of the classes have the new talents on the Alpha i take it?
You can look at the Drachtyr talent trees, since they also have 2 specs.
To notice how they lay out their abilities.
Last day before release some poor intern is going to be running to work with their laptop because the internet is down.
They’ll get all the way to blizzard HQ with the only copy of the shaman revamped talents and then they’ll drop their laptop and the data will be deemed unrecoverable.
You’re lucky though because they didn’t even bother to assign an intern the monk talents.
No. Blizzard has already said what classes are on the alpha right now. But I’m not expecting those classes to be the permanent focus of the alpha. At some point, it will be the Paladin’s turn and we will see their talent tree on the alpha.
I just know someone is going to point to that middle starter pick and swear it’s proof of a tank spec in hiding and get so many peoples hopes up.
Well ofc they won’t be.
Well ofc they will be…
What i’m saying is that they’re not showing us new previews for at least 1st phase, which lasts about 1 week, starting today.
Would have been nice to have 2 more classes this week.
But i guess Evoker will do.
Would have been amazing to see all of the classes on alpha start though.
Yeah… proof of tank spec that they’ll get 3 expansions down the line. xD
Or never.
I doubt the class is ever going to get one I see a second Melee focused Dragon class before that would happen. I’ll just be glad when and if the the class restriction gets lifted so people can use the race on their choice of class
Ahhhh I see. Yes that would have been nice. There’s what? Six classes left? That would have been a lot of content to chew on if they had made them all visible in the alpha today. I thought you guys meant that Blizzard had said there would be no more class previews going forward, not that there wouldn’t be any more classes in this first build. I misunderstood what the disappointment was.
Yeah but as stated about shaman above and how monks got his last expac sooner is better if they want to have time to make needed adjustments especially with 5.5 Months to go.
