Just read it on Wowhead, so apparently Inscription is not getting buff scrolls/writs in Shadowlands.
I started Inscription because Glyphs used to significantly alter abilities and I have many alts to care for. Now I use Inscription because I like to bring extra buffs to the team whenever I can. With it also gone, what does Inscription as profession bring to the table?
You mean besides it’s ability to make absolutely ridiculous amounts of gold with the best shuffle in WoW? Or it’s ability to continue to keep a steady, decent amount of gold auctions posted on the AH via glyphs? And there will undoubtedly be another bunch of reputation items for us to craft for literally EVERYONE in WoW who wants to grind out these new factions.
Sounds like you need a new profession then. I made almost 17 million during BfA with Inscription alone. It’s easily the best gold making profession. If gold isn’t what you’re after… Engineering is pretty much it for “fun”.
And after I made mine, what then? Sell it on AH? Hardly intriguing.
I guess I’m looking for something that’d add immediate utilities to combat, to team, to PvP, to solo. Which, unfortunately, seems to be what Blizz is nerfing for all professions. Vantus Rune would’ve been nice if it adds straight versatility without limitation.
Well yes since every single person will have multiple legendaries and thus need 2 scrolls for each. But you also get contracts for rep without having to get the rep to make them
I call BS - pics or it didn’t happen lol. Honestly, I’m on a full server and didn’t clear this gold AT ALL and I move a lot of mats and craftables between my own scribe, who has every recipe across all expacks and my other alts with their various crafting/gathering professions. It didn’t take long at all into BfA’s launch for prices to begin crashing. A couple million, maybe… but 17 million? Doubtedly.
