Why most people defending Mechagnomes are Horde?

Blizzard never gave us mechagnomes and vulpera in the first place. We prefer to get what we want.

Blizzard doesn’t care about pleasing the alliance.

All the devs, raiders, and most level 120’s that have completed a heroic raid this expansion are on the horde.

Why please the alliance, if you can just keep bullying them until they faction swap?

Strange isn’t it.

Where are all the angry threads against Vulpera? Oh yes, they vanish into obscurity because nearly everyone is overjoyed over there with their new race.

It was the same with the Zandalri and KT humans-- with the added comedy that KTs were are completely new model yet still there was a huge backlash. HOw many threads anti-Zandalari were there? Oh yes…

One wonders if Blizzard pay attention to these things, because they matter.

I don’t mind mechagnomes if it was a cosmetic update for my existing gnome… It’s a waste of an allied race to use it as such when we could easily have the cosmetic options for the gnomish players. They could have totally given both the mechagnome cosmetic options and a new allied race to alliance.

Thanks blizz. When the expansiom launched horde got brand new species for their mounts and alliance got the same old mount.

Now one last patch and horde get a brand new race never seen before and alliance get reskinned gnomes. Thanks so much. Yet another allied race I wont play.

I mean I thought those Mechagnomes actually looked pretty sick, I thought we’d just be getting those crappy cyborg junker gnomes, but we’re getting gnomes that can look like King Mechagon which is pretty awesome if you ask me.

I prefer not to be wrong. Blizzard promised us races better than mechagnomes and vulpera; half-elves and wildhammer dwarves for Alliance and half-orcs and taunka for Horde.

So? Horde always had them since day 1,they’re called Tauren given furry is just another way of describing an anthropomorphic animal. Tauren are anthropomorphic cows,the high mountain have moose antlers,pandaren the neutral race have been playable since 2012 it would seem odd to complain about Vulpera given this isn’t the first anthropomorphic race introduced to the Horde or any faction for that matter.

I’m baffled how people can get so tilted over this especially in a fantasy game where such creatures alongside 4 variants of midgets [if you count mechagnomes],elves,trolls and pretty much any non human race exist. Personally,I have no issue with mecha gnomes,I kinda feel alot of the salt is coming from the high elf camp [and in some sense the sethrak crowd then we’d have scalies technically :stuck_out_tongue: ]

edit: For context,I play both factions and finished leveling a gnome hunter and seeing more mechagon lore has intrigued me which also means some love for my diminutive homeys [I only punt the ones who are jerks]

Um you may want to look closer because there are a few anti-vulpera threads up right now.

Also the reason why so many “anti” allied race threads seem to exist on Alliance is because of sour grapes over not getting a specific race or because they demand all the purdy/cute races.
