Mechagnomes aren’t going anywhere. They’ve been announced. Try to be happy for the people who are really interested in rolling them. This kind of pettiness is just unseemly.
I really want Wildhammer Dwarves. The addition of Mechagnomes doesn’t suddenly make their addition impossible. Just one more AR closer to getting them now.
Kind of hope the next AR is Saberon. Uses the Worgen model. No love for Orcs. Feels like they’d be a good fit. After that, we can get races we’ve really wanted. Wildhammers, Helves, Krokuul, Vykrul, etc…
Oi. Half-elves and wildhammer dwarves for Alliance and half-orcs and taunka for Horde are better choices than mechagnomes and vulpera. Anduin’s gonna throw a fit about Mechagnomes any second now.
They’re pretty dang endangered… but eh, we had a measly group of Maghar orcs come through a portal and we’ve called it big enough to make an allied race.
Whoa. Sweet idea. I bet everyone would swap alliance if they did that!
Yes… because we all want another repeat of Lightforged Draenei.
No lore relevance, no unique difference, nothing that makes them different from a regular Draenei or gnome.
Draenei who believe in the light more than you.
Gnomes who tinker more than you.
There’s nothing truly unique about Mechagnomes beyond making cosmetic decisions on robotic replacements. They still tinker. They use whatever they can to improve and build. But we got absolutely no look into their culture. They’re made to be more wasted potential. Gnomes already get no love, what is a mechagnome going to bring that doesn’t take away from established gnomes as is?
Vulpera work because they got an established lifestyle. With clear appearances of their classes at hand such as Warrior, rogue, shaman, mage, maybe even monk with pandarens in tow.
What do we know for Mechagnomes for classes? What do they bring to the table that makes them stand out?
