I finally broke down and bought “No Man’s Sky”, on sale on the Xbox One for around $24.
It is like a DRUG!
I remember it was notorious for bugs, over the years, but it now seems AMAZING. I’m having a blast, playing it to the tune of never getting enough sleep now (in real life.) I work overnight and get off at 5:30 AM, then play it for something like 9 hours… (getting only 4 hours of sleep yesterday, but I can wait until I play it some more now, after work.)
The only bug I’ve ran into is that the Autonomous mining drones I put on some uranium, produce Uranium but then sometimes instead they will produce copper; 3 of them on one Uranium node are now stuck on copper. This is very irritating! However, I also need copper, so…? 
I’ve figured out with that bug that the thing to do is target the 250 stack of Uranium (which is when the bot is “full”) and then hit down on the dpad, so you get just one left on the Autonomous mining unit and it won’t switch to copper!
I need so much uranium for my suit shields, as well as my launch spaceship thingie!
I don’t know why I’m having so much fun in this game. I think it is because it reminds me SO MUCH of the old school “Star Control”, where you interacted with aliens and trading and such. “No Man’s Sky” is also very complex, while being in 3d and pretty cool.
