My character makes the pick pocket animation (kneels down as if looting something) but no loot window pops up.
I do not have auto loot enabled, looting dead mobs works fine.
I also don’t use any loot window modification add-ons or pick pocket macros.
Anyone ever encounter this?

You might be too far away from the mob, that happens sometimes. You’ll cast pick pocket while they’re moving and they’ll move out of range mid cast.
Does it happen every time you try to pick pocket or is it an occasional occurrence?
Haven’t been able to pick pocket a single mob.
Tried over and over.
Seems like some sort of addon conflict although I haven’t dug very deep into it yet.
Can’t imagine which one it could be.
I’ll have to disable all and try to narrow it down.
Figured I’d check here with the experts. 
Ah well if it’s an add on then I have no idea. I know it’s strange but I’ve been playing WoW for 14 years and never really used any of them.
