No loot on Emerald Nightmare?

I’m soloing this raid for the first time and turns out bosses don’t drop a thing! One of them gave me a cloak and that’s it, is this intended? All other, older raids give me tons of items.

Legion raids don’t fall under Legacy loot yet, if that’s what you mean. Legacy drops as many items as it would for a full group. Not legacy loot is still personal loot I believe.

No legacy loot in Legion raids. You get personal loot which can be 1 or none when it comes to items.

It’s intended behavior for Legion raids. See this post for a Blue explanation.

It’s definitely lame that we don’t have Legacy loot for Legion, but that’s how it works sadly, 1 piece at a time. Thus, people arrange mog runs all the time everyday for Antorus, Tomb, Nighthold, etc. so that the more people join those, the quicker it goes and people can pass out loot to eachother with rolling dices.

Blizz talks out of both sides of their mouths.

We want players to level to cap ASAP to partake in relevant content. Just kidding we gate the previous expansion because we think it is still relevant. P.S. Buy your boost now for 120 while you can!

Signed, Big Papa Blizz.

I read that article but it says I should get 5 people worth of loot, and I’m literally getting nothing (or just 1 item)

What level is your toon you are doing this raid with?

"(i.e.: your character is more than 10 levels higher than the dungeon or raid’s intended level) will activate a “legacy loot mode.”

You are not 11 levels higher than EN. That is why. It is not legacy loot.

It’s best to run Legion raids in a group. It doesn’t really make sense why we have to wait an entire expansion for legacy mode.

Now now, he could be a super hacker. That’s why I asked him what level. XD

Wanting you to be in level 120 content that’s new and exciting is not inconsistent with also wanting you to group up and be social when running transmog runs of more recent raids.

There’s no hypocrisy in being for both positions at the same time.

I posted with the wrong character, my main is a 120 warrior. Anyway i think i misread the level difference part so thanks.

its a % chance to get 1 piece of loot or gold.

Because it’s considered current content still. Once Shadowlands drop, it will have legacy loot available

Sure there is.

It’s your opinion that BfA is “new and exciting”. If it was all that exciting they wouldn’t have gone to so much effort to try to force people to do it, which was largely a failure. At this point, it’s really hard to take your claim that BfA is “new” as serious.

People who wanted to do it did. People who were not impressed either did old content or quit the game because of the draconian attitude of the devs.

And there is not a shred of evidence that devs have done anything with the intent of getting people to group up when doing transmog runs. That makes no sense at all.

Just think… when we reach level 121, it will switch on legacy loot for legion raids. :joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy:

Tedhnically that will never happen. When we hit 51 all raids become legacy raids :stuck_out_tongue:

LF someone to run me through the Emerald Nightmare, you can have all the loot.

Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, arbitrarily set “Legacy Loot” at 11 levels, irregardless of whether or not you could solo the content.

I honestly wonder how they make decisions over there. Do any of them play this game?
