Just ran a Streets. A dps left before the 3rd boss. We 4 manned the rest of it. Timed it with 6-7 mins left. There was no loot in the chest for anyone. We should have gotten 2 pieces.
Why do you think this happened and what can I do about it? Wait?
Sounds like the leaver has 2 pieces in his mailbox.

People had full bags so it got mailed to them. That way they aren’t pestered to trade it.

Uhh, this is very unlikely.
He didn’t tag the last boss and one player can’t get 2 pieces.
Anyone else have ideas?
If I had to guess I’d say the person who bailed got loot and one of the people in your group is lying and has the add-on that blocks it being shown what loot they got lol.
Sometimes at the end of a key the pop-up screen doesn’t show up and you can’t see what loot people got. I ASSUME it’s an add on or maybe an in-game bug but it’s out there.

Someone got a piece and lied, leaver got another piece.
Only other alternative is a bug but I don’t see it happening.

You can see who got what in chat. How would you block that?
Just not loot all.
I can’t say why someone wouldn’t loot unless it’s something they figured they’d have to give up
Two people got a conduit. So they definitely looted. The tank was way overgeared, didn’t get anything. I got anima.
Tank wanted the shield, was annoyed there was no loot.
Probably a trinket or something.
Doesn’t mean anything. You can select what you want to loot if you shift click the chest or tick off auto loot from the interface menu. They could’ve looted the conduits and left the item in the chest, for reasons explained above.
I guess, but that would be so weird. We were all talking about the loot thing in chat before we disbanded.
If I hold shift while opening a chest it won’t autoloot and then I can just take the conduit and leave the item.
I’m not sure if people’s armoury still shows their recent loot but you could check to see if anyone is wearing something new. Otherwise, maybe it is a bug but I’ve never heard of it happening before

If their intention was to get away with an item, it’s in their best interest to join in the discussion about missing items.
If a bug existed that loot could be absent from a chest, we would have heard from it long ago.
Isn’t that a lot to assume? Like if someone wants to keep an item they got, they would just keep it. It’s not master looter or something. I’ve kept sidegrades before, leveling stuff, etc. No one has an obligation to give someone something. And this was after we kind of all doubled down together to kill 2 bosses with 4 people. I guess it’s possible but it’s a much more complicated answer than I would expect.
Nobody wants to be pestered about loot that they themselves need.
Easiest way to avoid that mess is to loot everything but the piece, leave the group and visit the nearest mailbox.

What do you want me to say? Just send a ticket. As I said a bug like that would have been talked about long ago, it’s not like leavers are something new, as the many threads about can attest. Either you have discovered a brand new bug, after millions of runs logged, or someone is lying to you.
I’ve never seen anyone “pester” someone and I have KSM for all seasons in SL. It’s like, “do you need the cloak”? Yea I do sorry. OK cool, thanks for the run guys. lol.
Asking someone for loot that they haven’t offered up yet is pestering.
And some people will take it even further. This isn’t hard to understand.

Unless something changed recently, this doesn’t matter.
Not sure for the missing second piece though. Did everyone open chest? Could be a faker.
