So we all know all the problems with this Hearthstone “event”. But here’s another one. No loot if you die. Wait an hour, somehow manage to be in the right spot at the right time for the boss to spawn. Attack minions, attack boss, game turns into a slideshow and you die? No loot. Boss is gone before you can get back.
This event is a titanic failure. It is astounding to me that this mess made it live.

yeah, I got stunned the moment Dr. Doom came out, he CC’d me and killed me one shot. After having to run back to my body, he was dead and there was no loot for me. It’s a poor design.
Partner told me don’t bother it just crashes and stuff so was just like okay and closed down the game 
There’s been a few times where I lived, tagged the boss, didn’t lag at all, and still didn’t get loot. Not even the wild cards which as far as I can tell only exist for the purpose of making sure you don’t literally get nothing.
This is only around a week. How do they expect players who can only play a couple hours a day to get anything? They can’t even be assured of seeing the boss, or getting loot if they do.
Curious that the achievements are under collections and not just a feat of strength.
Make sure you get rid of your uncommon wild cards before boss spawns.
Having 10 on you (the max) currently seems to block loot. The second I started removing them before boss I got all the rewards within a few hours.
Mind you my wife is working and I’m watching our young son, so I’m not exactly glued to the game. Just popped in here and there checking for portals.
A week with an all day maintenance mixed in there. So really with all of the problems today and down most of the day tomorrow…we’ve lost 2 days out of 7.
The drop rates are high enough you only need a few hours.
For some people. My wife has only gotten cards from the 3 that she has done. I have been far more lucky.
Well all I’ve gotten off my of my successful attempts are wild cards or nothing so…
A new boss I know nothing about. It must be simple!

The problem is that the Mr. Boom mechanics lets other people kill you. Everyone gets disoriented, but the person that gets the red circle is supposed to run it out…but if they ignore it or are lagged out they are going to drop it in melee and kill a bunch of people.
It’s hard to blame people for getting killed by mechanics outside their control. Especially melee toons. And especially with this much lag.
