Is it possible not to get any loot from Dr Boom?

Yes unfortunately.
A tip I heard is make sure you donāt have ten of those wild cards in your bag , not sure if true but apparently buggy and no loot if you do?

I have gotten no loot twice today on this character. She really needs that bag too. lol. She only has 9 cards though .
10 of those wild cards means you may very well not get a sparkling corpse.
If you ārolledā in an unlucky fashion, you may have only gotten wild cards as your reward. If you already have 10, then nothing shows up for you.
Iāve had it happen 3 times today out of around 9, with either stolen cards or various cosmetics dropping otherwise.
Anyone else missing only one of the Hearthstone cards for the achievement? Iāve killed Dr. Boom 10 times and only have gotten a green wild card from him I canāt seem to get the last card for the achievement. & yes Iāve checked my mailbox.

This āeventā is still a buggy mess. People getting no loot if they happen to have an item in their bags. The event bag apparently no longer dropping for anyone who has the other cosmetic drops. I swear they either pinched this out in an afternoon or they made it with AI. That actual professional game devs made this kinda blows my mind.
At this point, Iām kinda just done with it. I was still farming it today because it would be nice to get the bag on alts, but apparently the bag will no longer drop for me since I got the other cosmetic drops already. Just wasting my time.
I do still need like two cards for the achievement thoughā¦ 
all that loot went boom!

If you are full on green cards you might not get anything because you were only going to get another green card.

I am missing two cards. For the first 6 or so I did today I was getting a blue card I needed for that from each one. Out of the last 5 kills I only got Hogger a legendary. I am still missing two blue cards.
Iāve started doing two things:
- Delete all wild cards from my bags
- Run it on characters that have never run it before
I donāt know if itās actually a thing that works for everyone, but Iām always getting some sort of loot now that isnāt just a wild card.

it really doesnāt take much for people to buy into conspiracies.
Note the āapparentlyā. From all Iāve see of the comments, this morning at least, no one was getting the bag if they had the other drops. If thatās changed since then I stand corrected.

The event is a bit better, but still needs a little more tweaking. I got Renoās Hat, the belt, tabard and 11 cards (got 8 in the starter pack) on the 1st day of the event. Yesterday, I got the pet, 5 cards, the Hearthstone Toy, and the compass mount. Today I got the last 5 cards I needed and the bag.
What I did notice was that every time I had 5 or more wild cards in my bags, I didnāt get any loot. I made it a point to trash any wild cards I got and once I started doing that, I always got a drop of some sort from each time I killed Dr. Boom.
I donāt know if other people are seeing the same results or not, just throwing that out there. Thankfully I am done so I can go back to doing other things I need to be working on.

Deleting wild cards every time I got one worked for me (got loot 3 times in a row). Could be a real thing, or maybe it was just my very lucky day.
Blizzard has made some bad events in the pastā¦ this one is either at the top or right thereā¦

Let me ask you this, what loot were you expecting?
Aside from the possible loot bug relating to the bags you need to think, if an enemy does not drop grey trash items, you have an RNG chance at getting something, that something varies.
In this instance if you have only one purple item remaining, you have like a 10% or whatever chance to see it and thatās it, if that item does not drop, you get nothing.
Whatās the point of the Wild Cards anyway? Iāve been just using/ditching them near the tableā¦

after you do the quest, thatās all you can do with them.
