No LFR is Hypocritical

LFR does indeed have all the downsides of LFD, a few more, and cranked up to 11 without the primary upside.

more of this attitude of everyone in life deserves anything they want at any time without any effort. watered down slop and people like you just keep getting worse at the game instead of better.

Oh the walking ad hominem is back to embarrass itself. Let me just do both of us a favor and put that on ignore

Yep LFR is so much better for alts than H+.

The primary upside is being able to do the content on demand. Which LFR obviously does provide.

If that’s your only goal, you can simulate LFR with the group finder already. Just list a normal raid, and accept everyone who applies FCFS.

The only thing you’re missing is automating the process.

But since everyone’s level 90 and only looking for 1 instance, you don’t have the fragmentation of leveling, where everyone’s different levels, looking for different dungeons.

Except you can’t since the group finder does not form groups.

It facilitates manual group formation.

It just doesn’t automate the process, so there’s less cover for individual laziness.

Spamming H+ is an even bigger grind

debatable, since it’s not an RNG grind.

It could end up being slightly longer, or significantly shorter.

Great so you do understand why it’s not as good as LFR.

LFR is an hour or so a week, grinding H+ will take far far longer than that.

I would argue that giving you the power to filter people is a bonus, and making it better to do it that way.

For 1-2 weeks, sure. But then you can be done with it for the rest of the season.

LFR RNG means it’s entirely possible that you spend the entire phase not getting the item you want.

It really isn’t, I had to gear my enh shamans OS to be able to offheal my guilds alt run tomorrow. I only had 3 pieces of healing gear before I started. Roughly 4-5 hours all up and I had a full set of resto gear enchanted and gemmed ready to go.

Yea without rng H+ is definitely much faster imo.
Add that it has often really short queue times you’re saving a lot of time there.
Moreover finding people to speed run them early is much more fun and easier to do than vs LFR and makes the grind really short.

At an hour+ per piece of gear you aren’t getting a full set of H+ gear in 4-5 hours.

You do if you also include the 378’s from the hour of twilight dungeons, valor vendor and JP vendor.

You can also get say, a healing trinket AND a protector token from 1 dungeon.

Well, that implies that your hour+ per piece of gear metric is wrong, or only applicable to specific items.

Except it’s not because the amount of shards that drops is known, the average run time of the dungeons is known as is the price of the items.

And that’s with instant queues, if you’re trying to DPS it’s longer.

So if you have good RNG :stuck_out_tongue:
