I really don’t miss Nether Portal, at all. Reign of Tyranny, Guillotine and Immutable Hatred are now high quality alternatives to the Pit Lord.

For a new Demo warlock in PvE – Do I follow Icy Veins who still recommends Nether Portal?
In M+ you probably don’t take Nether Portal. In raid Immutable Hatred is apparently comparable to Nether Portal now.
What website gives me these builds for newbie? Icy Veins seems outdated now

had a look and this all looks correct.
Nether Portal is still burstier, so if there’s any kind downtime between phases or vulnerability windows (like on Rasz) or it’s a short fight, it’ll be better.

If the fight is under 2.5min of kill time, NP is a good option to take. Otherwise, IH will be my main option.
Not having to worry about NP execution precision is a relief.

With how the tier set is currently functioning, pit lord will be the play in 10.1. GfG needs to be an aura instead of just the initial duration of grim.

I’m out of the loop and I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the new immutable hatred talent, but did they change guillotine?
Is it doing decent damage for mythic dungeons or are we running immutable hatred now?
Also, are we using Reign of Tyranny for dungeons as well, even with the desync with Grimoire?
I believe guillotine is a viable option for mythic+ now. Immutable hatred is more ST damage if im not mistaken.
They increased the damage and reduced the duration of Guillotin so it is much more effective in dungeons now.
Immutable Hatred is not really viable in dungeons since it loses the majority of its benefit in any situation where there are stacked targets. Maybe on Tyrannical? Even then, losing the buff to Legion Strike on virtually every trash pack doesn’t seem great to me.
I will likely run Reign of Tyranny on Tyrannical weeks but Grand Warlock’s Design is still quite the solid option in dungeons. Tier may change that in 10.1 but for now, both options are fine.

Probably due to the bugs they prioritise fixing vs the bugs that have been in since alpha that are still not fixed.
