No Ion, Not Everyone Who Delves Wants to do M+

You are so dense.

People will start M+ at 0 instead of 7.

That’s what changes dude.

If they werent getting any experience in m+ before, they arent going to suddenly because it takes a few more weeks.

I would appreciate if you can communicate with out personal attacks.

If it takes 2 extra weeks to get maxxed out in delve gear, why would they start at 0 instead of 7?

It was sold to us that way. They said it a “fourth pillar” of gear progression which means you’re supposed to be able to gear only using that path if you wanted to.

If we’re going by the capped by delves, idea, then, with 619, better off starting with +10s, and not measly 7s.

(Delvers have enough crests with religious farming by now, right?)

And you can.

It was sold as a fourth pillar that stops short of the others.

If you can start in 10s with zero experience, good on you.

You start off wherever gives you gear. Delves don’t award hero track in a timely manner.

I read that a few times now but it seems like you’re agreeing with me while saying youre not :stuck_out_tongue:

Ion said they dont want to go higher than hero track.
Which means they dont want to give myth track gear.

So it stays at hero.
No nerfs. No buffs. Theyre happy where its at.

I just dont think there is reason to think it would go above hero in the future.

Apparently its timely enough enough that they are not doing any m+ below 7s.

yes, so making it take longer, makes it not so timely, so people go into keys sooner.

But why would they go into keys sooner, if they are waiting on getting maxed out in delve gear?

Which is why it doesn’t need further nerfing. Which was my point.

Not feeling like sorting through 800 posts so maybe this has been said but if they want there to be less of a cliff, then Hero track gear should be made more lucrative which would help with gearing up in actual m+ dungeons since you could get and upgrade that gear without vaults.

It sits awkwardly between champion and myth track gear. Hero gear should start at 613 or 616 and go to 630, then drop hero track to 5 upgrade levels instead of 6.

I really enjoy M+ but I understand those that don’t like it. I don’t like raiding so having m+ added was great to me. I don’t want to see blizz nerf Delves because it makes getting into M+ awkward. Right now Delves are a good way for me to gear up some alts but they should expand rewards for Tiers 9,10, and 11.

Don’t nerf Delves.

Fortunately no one at Blizzard said it needed any nerfing.

They aren’t waiting to be maxed in delve gear.

Else, they would be hero track / 619.

It’s a rate of acquisition issue.

As I said, 8 delves a week, 4 keys (may not be successful) need to be ready for +7s.

If I wanted to do mythic plus. I would. I wanna stick with delves. Sure the gear might not be as great but they’re fun for me.

We can gear all the way up to heroic raid with it.
That seems strong enough to be called an end game pillar to me.
Especially since its a fully fleshed out journy to get there. We have lots of delves, lots of replayability, challenge modes, vault gear.

Delves are pretty sweet

That is literally the issue.

i disagree.

Ok.

But that is not the issue Blizzard was talking about.

The issue Blizzard specifically mentioned are the people not doing ANY keys, and starting at 7s with zero experience.

If those same people arent doing keys while they do delves now, they arent going to later.

Blizzard is saying. Right now. That people are not running keys and delves. They are doing delves only, then jumping into M+ at a higher level than they should compared to their experience.

If you’re someone without experience of dungeons to begin with, +7 is not the best point of entry, and it certainly wasn’t designed to be a point of entry, so we think some players are hitting a cliff wall.

True, that’s a lot harder to solve without utterly gutting delve rewards.

And even if you triple m+ loot, delves will still give it faster…

Once again.

I dont know why you want delves nerfed and gutted. But its not the answer.

It’s either that, or making m+ loot extremely free.

Then they can reverse course (for the third time) next expansion.
