Do you want to provide a link so we can discuss it then?

C’mon man link it I need a dose of outrage today!

Appropriately enough, “outrage” auto-corrected to “Orange”

Some intersting stuff.

Hardly anyone cared because it was mostly fluff. Even WoWhead only focused on the faction imbalance part.

His quote specifically about the night fae was very very odd. Almost hinting at them being playable.

The faction part was the most intersting as I have never seen him actually leave the door open like that. Closest we’ve come to them admitting there is a problem.

Was anything of note said?

Was probably just a bunch of dodging and none answers.

They are currently doing the rounds to promote the game. Pretty much none of these interviews are going to contain anything of significant substance.

I agree but Forbes actually asked harder hitting questions than fluff.

Does anyone even bother at this point? It’s all just lawyer talk and lies.

Rofl, no they didn’t.

They specifically put him on the spot about things people have been concerned with:

  • raiding racials
  • faction imbalance
  • covenant powers and whether they will nerf them and what effect this will have on players.

Those aren’t softball. Those aren’t fun to answer.

Ion is about as interesting as watching paint dry. I’m sure I’ll figure out anything he might have told Forbes that I need to know…

I liked his interview.

I’ll never forgive him for the alliance ARS but overrall he could be worse.

Eh it’s nothing.

Lot of non-commital answers. When he talks about regrets makes me remember why I liked him as a person, but as the guy in charge I wish his actions with the game would reflect that.

Then I see Muffinus’s tweet up on there and I realize it’s probably an uphill battle.

So they basically asked questions that everyone already knew the answers to. Even more so if you have been on the beta lol.

Something about Ion just gives me the creeps. His mannerisms, the way he talks, the way he holds his facial expressions, just makes something inside me yell, “Don’t trust this guy!”. He comes across as very disingenuous.

As the kids would say, fake AF.

Blizz would be smart to find a new mouthpiece, he is off-putting.

He mentioned “support from the company” (I think) and noted that the “producers” might cut them off, which stuck out for me. Who are the producers?

He noted the faction imbalance, but took no responsibility and was very insensitive when discussing the dwarf racial nerf. It feels like any time Alliance is mentioned he can’t seem to help but say something so dismissive or rude it can make an Alliance fan want to quit. I guess they’ve made the game turn out the way they wanted and they are comfy with it, as long as Horde players have a few people to gank. If not, they’ll go ahead and add in AI for them right? Thanks Ion.
