I just had to reset my Computer and reinstall WoW. I’ve started it, but there is no interface, cache, or WTF folder after playing for a bit. I can’t use my Addons either, even when I manually make an interface Folder. I’ve used “Show In Explorer” to make sure I’m in the right folder, Battlenet has permission, and WoW isn’t being blocked by my firewall, I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling WoW. I’m Completely stumped on what to do, could anyone help me?
The game file system was changed a ways back Vindsent. Check in the folder labeled _retail
Thanks, that fixed it. I thought that’s where it was, but I checked before I ran the game for the first time, and I didn’t check again.
Ahh that was the issue - they aren’t created until you run the game.
so i have the wtf interface and cache for cata classic. however i cannot access sod or classic era because those folders are present. whats the deal
Different clients. Cataclysm has a different install than Vanilla or Season of Discovery. All installs do share some data between the 3 though, but you still need different executables.
