So I cant link videos anymore, it says “you cant post images in a link”. Has the forum rules changed on linking videos?

Yes YouTube But I’ve linked youtube videos before, dozens of times.

you have to use youtubes shortened links, click the share button on youtube and it should spit out a shortened link

tried posting a video a little bit ago only to find this out, wonder why it changed.

I believe you need to be TL2 for video links to YT.

Trust level two.
Maybe even Trust level one.
It’s basically a forum reputation system.

basically, you have to read a certain amount of posts and recieve/give a certain amount of likes to gain trust level.

been a while since I actually cared about paying attention to it (I do miss trust 3 though, rip being able to post pictures.)

Nah, people were posting YT links the day the forums came out, and only MVPs and Blizzard staff had trust levels above 1 on that day. YT is a trusted site, you don’t need extra trust levels to post videos.

There have been some recent tweaks perhaps to the system?
I was playing around with some of the features the other day.
If you are muting/ignoring someone the timeframe has been extended to 6mos.
Oh and you can report giving the name of the poster as a reason for the report now.

Wow I guess they did change things at some point. Tried on a TL2 character and couldn’t post youtube video. Neither the full link nor the shortened link.

Guess they really do hate fun.
