Uh… Pretty sure I got a 400 ilvl piece of gear for my Horde alt from the world boss in Darkshore. Go buy an extra roll chance and test your luck.
You’re right. Every Horde player needs to turn off War Mode and leave it off. Let them have their free 10%, who cares. Burn this failed experiment to the ground.

Horde could have turned off WM during this and got the quest next week for all we know. Now if they do its 385. Lawl.

Except there hasn’t been an explosion of alliance until the 400, so we will see next week where it lands. Theyre already anticipating that the 30% will go down maybe.
This is partly about alliance turning WM on, but it also has to do with some horde turning WM off.
Population imbalance that you created. Alliance turned it off immediately upon experiencing any of the negative aspects that come with the 10%. Just the sheer numbers that Alliance had in the first week of the 30% change makes it evident that there was hardly any imbalance in most shards, but rather, lazy Alliance scum that needed a 30% incentive to come out and play.

Another Horde post full of lies. Ion himself stated things were good at the start of BFA and the reasons that changed.
What caused the issue was that sharding was broken and Alliance were placed in shards where they were greatly outnumbered (I can confirm…) I had to deal with 5x-10x the number of Horde to Alliance in each zone and had to turn it off. It took Blizzard too long to fix this and people just left it off till 8.1 myself included. Just like I did others turned WM off because of this issue which made the Horde PvE players turn it on for a free 10% with no PvP. The Alliance PvP quest was made to get more Alliance into WM and to have them hunt Horde players to get those that don’t care about PvP to turn WM off and it’s working sort of. Honestly, Blizzard needs to make it like 10 kills in each zone as that would fix the issue more than what’s going on now.
As more Horde PvE players turn WM off and Alliance joins for free loot the rewards we get will decrease or go away. Just so you know Ion himself is a Horde Shaman that plays with WM turned on. If he can deal with it so can you, assuming you care about pvp.
I have played both factions from the start of bfa and up until this past week I had not been camped by any “raid group” of the opposing faction… while this past week has been awesome for my alliance toons, it has been garbage for my horde ones. I would prefer if they just got rid of the bonuses attached to WM completely for both factions. That way the people that want to WPvP will and the people that don’t want to WPvP wont.

so a guy running around in gear from 370-395 that doesn’t raid or run mythic+, ordo any ranked pvp is going to quit because hes not getting a piece of gear for nothing.

Nothing was handed to the Horde. The Shard crap created an issue. Alliance turned off WM because it was an option(bad option IMO) . Alliance was given incentive to kill Horde. Now Horde struggle to get dailies, or quest with WM on. Reactionary domino effect and I have a feeling it needs to be dealt with or this game is in trouble. You cant keep giving one child a cookie while the other gets to watch it get eaten. Pretty simple, if you play on a pvp server. Eliminate WM, you either kill or be killed this is f…ing WARCRAFT. Or you quest nicely, accident target someone you /wave to say sorry, or you throttle them. Thats how us originals do WoW.

though i do find it funny the alliance tryin to be all hardass now after 4 months of whining. lol.
It is really telling that one of the top guilds (Limit) switched to Alliance solely so they could get the item lv. 400 items. It is a huge advantage to have so early in the tier.
When Ion said this I thought, “uhoh”.
