Echo event. Sitting in Dustwallow Marsh for about 15 minutes now. No mobs, no nothing. There’s a random timer over one portal in Dalaran. No timer on the other portals.
You just… sit in a zone and wait for something, with no idea of how long you’re waiting? This seems really bad or I’m incredibly stupid and missing the entire point of this event.
It was a Kmart connection fest for me. I played Halo instead.
They didn’t add “fun” to the list of features.
Is there an event header on the map showing 6 bubbles, one of them glowing and five dark?
If so, you’re probably in a bugged event and there’s nothing you can do but go back to Dalaran.
Yes, one was active, and five were out. About 30-40 people maybe sitting at Onyxia in Dustwallow.
There seems to be a bug that sometimes prevents one of the tasks from appearing in Duskwallow (or not properly acknowledging when it is complete), thus the event can’t proceed to the finale and is dead in the water.
lol it is really confusing, some people who arent aware of the event, arriving just now and being ‘’??? I need to wait 1h just to kill a boss and then wait agan?‘’
makes people completely lose the desire to play…
Yeah it seems like sort of a bad design. I’m in Dragonblight now with another group of people… waiting? lol very fun. Much enjoyment.
I went into dustwallow marsh with wm on, killed everyone until they grouped up to beat me and I used bubble + hs
the only fun I had in this event…aint no way im farming this, wait for a hotfix, they did the same with hearthstone event, the louder we get better are the chances for it
Ive seen a few people ask where the boss is literally seconds after it gets downed lol if they arent trolling i feel so bad.
OK, successfully defeated the Lich King, opened a token chest of remembrance? Bugged out and didn’t get any loot. Was able to finish the 1.5 memory quest. And that’s enough fun for one day. Will try back tomorrow.
Oh, just one more thing, there’s so much lag at the bosses, it’s almost unplayable. I tried dismounting and I had the swimming animation for like ten seconds. My ping says 50ms home/world so guess it’s just the event causing lag.
