Cliff note: A healer should always be busy healing instead of doing DPS.

Okay, so let’s float off to your dreamworld here a moment. Healing has a 100% required uptime. You miss a GCD and someone dies. At what skill level? Do only the best of the best get to heal? At what gear level? Do you only get to heal after first acquiring BiS? Or do healing requirements change as you gear up? If it’s the latter, a healer will literally never see a piece of loot again. At what difficulty level is 100% healing uptime required? LFR? Normal raid? Heroic dungeons? M+3? M+15?
