Has something changed in DF? I trained herbalism soon as I got to the isles and I have find herbs checked on my mini map menu but I haven’t seen a herb yet through level 62.

I thought it was just me. I found my first herb entirely by accident.

I havent seen any show on my map either, i just happened across one, no fishing nodes showing either for some odd reason. A friend just told me he isn’t seeing mining nodes on his map either.

I found turning it off and on again worked - for real - I turned find herbs off, and then turned it on again, and then herbs started appearing.

That’s what I did as well and maybe a /reload too.

I think it wasn’t working earlier because of the servers issues.
I did a quick relog and turned discover nodes back on and I can see them now.

Yup was broke for the first initial hours, they’re up now with a glow.

What I am noticing today so others are aware, when I logged in all herbs/fishing nodes were showing. I logged out for a bit came back on and noticed no nodes again for some reason the checkmark in the Find Herbs, Find Fish was missing and had to recheck. But it’s definitely buggy because I never unchecked it.

Click the binoculars in the Upper Right Hand Corner (you can barely see the icon - microscopic).
Make sure Herbs/Mining is on (Mine was OFF by default).
IMPORTANT: If you die, the game unchecks the Mining and Herbs on the Minimap. So reset it each time you die.

my gosh I spent hours trying to find out how to find nodes, reload reset etc. Didn’t know the binocular icon even existed.
Same here man, spent 40min flying around, looking for nodes before work today and found nothing. The stupid tracker just got turned off somehow /sigh
Yeah there are a couple bugs as reported here and elsewhere.
- When you get to the Dragon isles, you have to toggle the tracking off then on for them to work.
- Tracking of nodes will randomly turn itself off.
- If you die, tracking is reset to off.

I’ve found that it disappears periodically and I have to check to make sure it’s still marked. Also when I died, pfft.

Most of today, mine shut off every time I died and spontaneously. My spriest’s shadowform was shut off as well. Until they fix it, we need to check herbing and mining tracking when we notice THERE AREN’T ANY NODES! At least it works sometimes. In Beta, it was broken for the first week I played. No crafting progression…
Pretty much. I havnt been able to progress in my alch/herb skill because, I literally cant tell wheres an herb on the map. I found a few herbs by chance while questing.
Just make it a habit to toggle track herbs when you log in.
That is seriously the only thing you can do.

Yes, because fixing this is not a priority when so many other things are broken…
