No Hand of A'dal with original Vials of Eternity quest [Solved]

I had the original Vial of Eternity quest in my log still from before prepatch, and have (finally!) completed it and handed in, but I didn’t get the Hand of A’dal title. However, reading around people did get the title back in patch 3.03 as long as they had the original quest.

Isn’t this supposed to award the title? Can you please confirm, or look into it?

I tried an ingame support ticket but just got an stock responses telling me to go to wowhead.

edit: I think I found why, I hadn’t finished the Ruse of Ashtongue, so going to finished that and apparently that will trigger it after handing in

I think you needed to do the quest before a certain point during actual TBC, but I could be wrong about that…this game has a lot of bugs and errors.

It’s based upon QuestID. You have to complete the original Vials quest, (which can’t be picked up now), and then complete the BT attunement (which people are forgetting about)
