No Guards in Dazaralor

I really don’t understand why there are no guards in the only part of Dazaralor that matters.

I’m really sick of getting mobbed by 15 people while I’m just chilling.

I truly don’t care about any of the 400 ilvl crap. What really pisses me off is that the Alliance can just chill in Boralus with no danger of being constantly ganked in their own city.

It doesn’t make sense to me at all. World PVP should be just that, in the world, not just camping the inn, ship, and flight path of our city. Why Blizz? Seriously I want to know why. If there was some design element reasoning I can respect that, but at the moment it just seems like a complete oversight.

These new cities are not nearly as secure compared to what we’re used to in org and stormwind. I don’t think that’s a bad thing though.

This has always been at least a part of what world pvp is.

  • Sylvanas has dispatched additional Horde guard support near the Banshee’s Wail and Warfront staging areas of the Port of Zandalar. The scamps with scrolls that were previously found in the Warfront area have been relocated to other parts of the Grand Bazaar.

Lol just “chill” with wm off then

At least alliance need to climb their way to the top of the pyramid, wait till flying. They will just fly to the top

true

but what about the dozen or so squads of horde troops right at the front of the pier at the intersection between the island expedition and warfront table

an active guard who can maybe find a careless stealthy?

some guards with the stealth finding radius around them?

just something

there could also be something done about the vulpera at vulpera hideaway not attacking me (a horde who is exalted with them) but the alliance who are attacking

I ran up to the hideaway on my vulpera rep mount to defend it and got attacked by the vulperas…like why!?! we suppose to be best buddies!

So this is what you are crying about this week? The WM pop is finally starting to level out, to the point where the Alliance are at only a 15% bonus(awesome btw) the AOO quest isn’t available which means things our starting to look good. The guards in Boralus are not that great. You can literally back door the city and camp the spawn with little guard interference. My suggestion would be to cry a little less and fight back.(which being horde I know that’s hard.). Fighting back is how I handle all the horde raids in 8.0.

its weird how 99% of the horde places in bfa have little to no guards
and then theres atleast 5 alliance towns with elite guard.

I don’t think you understand, until a few days ago there were literally none (the fact that they were added makes me feel vindicated though). At all. Anywhere around our mission table, warfronts, islands, and the horde inn. You don’t “Fight Back” against a raid you just smash your head against a wall for little reward until someone gets bored.

There weren’t any on the Alliance side either. But I get it, Horde want NPCs to do their Champions’ job for them.

This is a load of horse crap. There were guards protecting Boralus everywhere. The only area that I can think of that wasn’t protected by guards in Boralus was near the dungeon portal for Siege of Boralus. In that one tiny section underneath the main area of Boralus.

Not that it was a problem since any player who attacked you from above also aggroed guards who would shoot you from the ground above.

Just because you aggroed guards by moving carelessly, doesn’t mean everyone did. On RP realms, there are Horde that regularly camp the 7th Legion ship, for example and they certainly know how to get there without aggroing anything. Same with the other places mentioned.

Granted the camping rarely lasts for more than a few minutes, because Alliance player characters actually defend our territory against Horde. Maybe part of the reason why the Alliance can get the upper hand in war mode when the Horde have the numbers advantage is that attitude: that it’s up to us Alliance Champions to fight the Horde, it’s not just someone else’s job.

I can literally make another imgur album for you to show you it’s not moving carelessly, the guards are placed at almost every entrance of a building. Any player who attacks another player will aggro guards.

As I said yesterday, I was in Boralus with a bounty and I was giving Alliance the run around. You know that flag pole on top of the war campaign boat? Yeah, I glided from the wall where tons of guards are also at onto there, and any player I attacked while I was up there aggroed guards.

Really? I’ve never seen this. Occasionally one runs by on a water strider, but they aren’t usually trying to attack anyone. Of course that hasn’t stopped me from killing them.

I have never seen this either. The only time I witnessed Horde camping the 7th Legion ship was when they had a large raid group. Even then, the entire time they were moving through the city, they had a constant flow of guards spawning on them. It was certainly guarded.

Like I said, Alliance tend to take care of it within a few minutes. I see it once every week or two, but I’m very sensitive to Horde; I’ll often be the first to shout “Horde!” when those next to me haven’t noticed them yet. If you’re not watching chat, or if you don’t spend a lot of time in Boralus, you might miss it.

I can easily believe that normal servers might be at a disadvantage in repelling this kind of attack; they probably have a smaller standing population in Boralus because most players there probably just go to Boralus long enough to transact their business and log off, instead of sticking around to roleplay.

LMAO girl you are too much !!!

I’m honestly starting to get concerned hun we need to get you a life and pronto !!!
