I am missing nearly 1 million gold and I don’t even have enough to buy a token for game time now (not that I’d trust it to show up from the AH right now). It is unconscionable that the mail STILL is not working after extended maintenance. What on earth was that downtime for then?!
I think at this point everyone deserves a month of game time. This is beyond stupid, why would you release a major patch, new AH UI, and mail UI on the SAME DAY? Blizz, this was avoidable. Please admit your mistake and compensate us.
There is no way you had 1 million tied up in one week of sales and don’t have enough capital for a token. They’re like 180k. I simply don’t believe you.
Again, it’s been a week. They’re working with 15 year old spaghetti code, give them a minute. They’ve said that nothing is going to be lost, until it’s been an actual period of time or until they say “Sike, that mess is gone for good” just calm down.
What you “believe” doesn’t change reality. I have the AH mount, and regularly buy hundreds of thousands of gold worth of mats when they are cheap. I happened to spend nearly a million gold recently to buy hundreds of thousands of mats.
Well, if you invested all of your money in the AH the day it has a major redesign, you’re not very good at this, sorry. OP will get his money eventually. He should have been smarter and waited to see how the changes shook out.
According to the AH I’ve sold nothing which is really odd. I didn’t keep track well enough of my nearly 100 auctions to know if I got screwed by the bugs or not.
It was before patch day, you know, because prices INCREASE on a patch day. You’d know that if you did the AH much.
And besides, this is not about my gold. This is about how many people and guilds Blizz has interfered with because of THEIR mistake. You can say w/e you want about me, but I didn’t screw up. They did.
Whatever you say, bud. Keep tantrumming all you want, but you’re not going to get any compensation and it’s not going to make them fix the AH any faster. Them’s just the facts.

And as before, this is not about me. This is about Blizzard screwing up one of the most important elements of the game. The mail has been there since vanilla. It’s not some QOL thing added a couple xpacs ago.
Perhaps there is a Raid Wing where you go to a Corrupted version of the Azeroth Postal Hub and fight a raid boss, The Postmaster, so that we can finally free all of the mail that has been held captive in the bowels of the Corrupted Postal Hub.
