Vashj is only a villain because she got jealous of Tyrande’s beauty and how close she got to Azshara. Can we really fault her? Everyone gets jealous sometimes.

if your worried about her statescraft she was a princess, she probably has better education than all the forsaken.

She may have a better education than your average person, but it wasn’t in statecraft. Arthas received all of that as he was the heir. Calia’s primary asset was her womb, period, and that is why she was going to be married off by her father to Daval Prestor.
