Likes aren’t everything. The reason for this post was to get Blizzard’s attention. After 600 replies it’s certainly done that. If no-one posted on this again, I’d still consider it a job complete, and if they don’t introduce focus, still cancel my 2nd account.
Its not a question of demanding. Its simple causality.
You know Blizzard stopped using the key method many years ago. If you have proof it’s more likely you are either being tricked or you are misinterpreting what happened.
This is pretty well the sharp pointy end of the argument. They tolerate it because it is in their financial best interest to have people give them more money. There are a number of unpleasant aspects of the game that are tolerated, often for reasons beyond logic (corpse camping, high levels repeatedly ganking low levels in pvp, for example). Many people find the latter examples intolerable but Blizzard has repeatedly said that these things are part of PvP and therefore are not against the rules. You have to be ‘griefing’ on a fairly large and significant manner to get them to act on it. It seems large scale is wrong, small scale is ok. To me, what is wrong for one person should be wrong for 50 people but I am not Blizzard and I don’t make those decisions. It doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.
In the end it all comes down to choice. If I find something in the game unacceptable, and it isn’t something that is going to be changed, then my only options are to cope with it, or stop playing. I have no really strong feelings about multiboxers as long as they don’t interfere with my gaming. Perhaps they will make concessions for you and others who MB, perhaps not. In the end you need to balance your frustration against your gaming pleasure and decide what’s more important.
yeah… I use it frequently for PvP and dungeons and such but… If people are clamoring to have the focus target back so they can make their 5 multi-box setups again and break the game then… Lawl.

5 man multiboxing is unaffected by this. They’re all going to be there, doing the same things to you, whether focus is instituted or not. They don’t use it, and all the things they do use, Blizzard happily included.

Historically, they did. And rampant abuse made Blizzard stop the practice.
So you’re saying that you as a 2 account user, CANNOT multi-box while the same 5 account insta gib 5instant chain lightnings will still happen?
While I can appreciate how the lack of focus target affects non-party targeting I dont see how your setup is IMPROBABLE without focus target but these ones will still work without 3rd party software as was used to huge abuse back in the day…
“CANNOT” do it the way we normally do it, because there’s a massive difference between using focus and targettarget, correct.

Nope. I just saw a comment I agreed with and responded to it early in the conversation and havent paid attention to your arguments about focus-frame for multiboxing because
- never needed to multi box playing.
- its a scrub thing to do IMHAHO it helps farming sure, but you’re paying for 2 accounts so you can basically double team+ and trivialize the -entire- experience
However people play is up to them. But dont expect me to wave my banner in favor of focus targeting because of multi-boxxing

I literally swear that on the stress test server ,you could right click and focus (but i’m not even sure if it was a thing in vanilla, and considering the amount of topic i read about this, i’m sure it wasn’t the case)
We still have 2-3 MONTHS before release, that give them plenty of time to bring back the functions they had back then.
Your statement was:
No-one is clamoring for focus for that reason. It doesn’t matter if you were responding to someone else’s misinterpretation. The statement still does not hold water.
Well, then go post on the other thread in favor of focus, which holds the real reasons most of us want it back. This was literally a financial attention grabbing thread that served its purpose, but people are so hung up on hating 5 character assassins that they can’t get past the concept that this has nothing to do with them.
Blizzard please pretty please add Game Master commands for players to use because I find it cool and I don’t want to use cheat software for it. OR ELSE I WILL UNSUBSCRIBE!!!1!1!1!1!

Blizzard I need Classic to be easier for me I just need you guys to over simplify the game for me please. No one will mind while I face roll healing.
Actually, to keep in context, you have to reword this a little.
“Since you removed our game master commands that all players could use I will no longer be spending money on my 2nd account”
