I have done keys in every dungeon for the season and siting just shy of KSM on my alt…I want to do a Flood gate because even just a 5 or 6 would easily give me the rating. I’ve been refreshing the group finder all morning.

ZERO Floodgates
our group of 5 had 4 floodgate keys… we didn’t really want to do it again lol
you may be holding all of the ones blizz has given out then. Rejoice!

It’s one people just stuff up because they stand in bad or pull extra mobs. Common one to reroll.
Double check the filters on your LFG window.
Looking at the keys of my guildies (those that have addons that share it anyway) only 1 floodgate key out of 50 people…
It’s neither a fun dungeon nor a well designed one. It’s a kind of punishing and annoying trek through part of a world zone that we already quested in and traveled through for delves.
It was basically old content when it was released and the “new” things about it aren’t fun.
On the ingame premade finder, there are heaps of floodgate keys. I counted 20 and still had plenty of scrolling to do.
Only reason to do it was that one crit trinket, and thats on the vendor now wo there isnt much of a reason to run it.
If you havent done it at all maybe try a 3 or 4 just so it says youve done something and search for 7s only as those are crest farm keys so they have some variety.

I dont udnerstand the hate, I like Floodgate personally.
With that said I think Im one of the people hoarding floodgate keys, I wish itd go away so I can run other stuff.

As ele, I like floodgate because many of the larger pulls naturally line up with my 3m cd.
A decent and aware tank can make that happen almost anywhere though.
My hatred for ToP disagrees.
Workshop is up there as well.
Yeah there are exceptions for sure. Almost anywhere but not everywhere. ToP is a bit too linear to do much flexing on.
ive been made lazy with my generally premade key group to where i haven’t loaded up omnicd this time around. our ele shaman is really good about kinda filling the shot-caller role and even delaying lust until they see when dps cd’s are up.
Floodgate just does it more “naturally”. I dont have to worry as much if this pug tank is going to pull how I need it.
With a friend, I let them know “hey, cds are up”, pull big. Not gonna trust most tanks for that.
ToP is not only linear, but just has many small “forced” packs. I almost go into a ST based spec for that dungeon at times. Workshop also has some forced small packs you cant physically make larger.
But floodgate, I know even if I have no communication with the tank, I will absolutely have some good pulls that naturally line up very close, if not perfectly, to my 3m cd.
Its a coincidence if everyone else’s cds are up. As an ele sham, we just care about our stupid 3m. Everyone else is just lucky!
