No feed pet spell

I cant be the only hunter who didn’t get a feed pet icon in their spell book can i??

What level are you? You can gain this ability at level 10 by completing the hunter training quests

i just hit ten and got the tame pet ability with the hunter quests

you should have another hunter quest called tame the beast or something like that, pick it up from your trainer if you don’t then go turn it in

There should be more quests.

…Also, I’m at 5423 in queue after 7 hours…

You need to go to the pet trainer in ur capital city. Not the hunter trainer.

you have to pick up the quest from the hunter trainer before you go there

Ah yup the Tame the beast quest is what unlocks this ability in thunderbluff ty

Finish the quests as others have said.

Ok so at level 10 you get a quest to go see the hunter trainer. S/he will give you 3 quests in total to tame 3 types of pets. Once you turn that in, you get the ability to tame a pet to keep. You also get a quest that, upon turn in, gives you an icon in the general tab of your spellbook. Click that & you get the ability to feed your pet & also Growl. You can then speak with the Pet Trainer to train a higher level of growl & possibly something else as well. OH! And your pet will have talent points for you to spend also.

I believe you actually have to talk to the pet trainer to get feed pet, but I may be wrong.

After you’ve tamed the 3 pets and turned in, you still have to go to Darnassus and turn in the final part, then you will get the Feed Pet ability as well as others…

I got Feed pet at level 10, along with tame beast. As others said, I just finished the quest line and I had the spells.

Then I had to find food, fast. You need the right kind of food in your bags, to feed your pet.

I didn’t find out about pet abilities until a few levels later.

I had the same problem at first but After completing the quest with my Orc to tame 3 different pets I had to turn in Training the Beast in ORG before i got the feed pet ability. I hope this helps someone in the future.

You should have received a follow up from your trainer to see the hunter trainer in YOUR racial city (TB, Org, Darn or IF)

Completing that follow up quest will furnish you the other BM attributes including feed pet.
