I have fulfilled all the requirements for Kosumouth the Hungerer to get the world quest for the Fathom Dweller mount. I have only seen the world quest for the pet for the past few months. I have even collected all three of the pets to see if maxing out getting the pets forces the mount quest to spawn, with no dice.
I have the exact same issue. I completed the quest 3 months ago and been only able to loot the pet so far

Each world quest has an allotted time. You missed the time. I was doing a world quest a couple of weeks ago, and was at 99% complete when the time ran out.
I’m having the same issue on US-Thrall, horde side… i’ve only seen the pet and not the mount. I’ve been able to kill him for 6 months now and it’s always the pet.
Same issues here, Myself and a friend did the unlock around September and have been paying Kosumoth a visit every 2 weeks since with no luck for either of us. Not sure if its a bug or just the lowest chance of the WQ being up ever
According to the people who have submitted tickets in the past it is supposed to be a 50% chance to be the pet or the mount every two weeks. Now they are full of crap and are totally lying because there is no way that it would be going several months straight without ever once being the mount once but they don’t seem to care any more to bother fixing broken parts of their game.
It is actually very possible if it is a 50/50 chance. Much like flipping a coin can land on the same side many times in a row, this can have the same drop many times in a row. Each time you run it, you have the chance, and those chances are not cumulative.
Except when you flip a coin like 20 times in a row the chances of it being head EACH AND EVERY TIME are incredibly low and if you think everyone is that unlucky in a row then you are fooling yourself. Something is or got messed up in the RNG for what picks that reward as mount or pet every 2 weeks or they are straight out lying about it being a 50/50 chance and refuse to fix it.
More likely GMs are making baseless assumptions. This quest is pretty clearly not 50/50 at this point but GMs have no way of verifying that so they just assume it is based on nothing. Personally I think it’s just a low chance for the WQ to be a mount instead of pet each time it’s up (~5-10%) and sometimes you run into long strings of failure.
Stupid design maybe but probably not a bug.

What happened to the quest? I just completed it on NA server and got the claw again. Did they only have it up for a day?
I honestly have no idea, there was even a post on WoWhead about it being up and both me and a friend have collected the mount last week (i think its on a 2 week rotation tho so maybe you can still get it?)
