Hello, since the last 8.1 patch I was supposedly able to use DirextX 12 on the game for performance improvements but once I go into the Graphics API option I can only select DirectX11… I checked my dxdiag and it says I have currently installed directX12 and even checked my graphics card specs and it says it supports directX12 (Nvidia GeForce GT 720). I’m currently using Windows 10 so I don’t know why the option to switch to directX 12 isn’t there
PS: I’ve seen some other threads and apparently having an addon called Reshader (?) forces your game into directx 11 but I don’t even have it installed

Your video card does not seem to support the correct feature set for dx12 in wow.

Ohh thank you so much for the reply, I’m so sad ;_;
@Zunger and that is a retarded reason for not having a DX12 option.
your video card not supporting directx12 is a bad reason for you not being able to use it? wut? how in the world can you possibly blame blizzard for this.
I mean, they could have you be able to select DX12 if you card doesn’t support it and just have your system, crash, but I have a feeling you’d complain about that too.
If the card does not fully support DX 12 it will actually just either lock up the computer or blue screen. Other then the GTX 750 TI the only cards that are fully DX 12 compatible are a very select few of the OEM 800 cards , The 900 series , the 1000 series and the 2000 series. All of the 700 series except the GTX 750 TI , the 600 series and the 500 series lack full compatibility with DX 12
