Happens to me each time a run a new character through the Magni cutscene. To fix I have to log out of WoW and restart the game. Every character I do after that has the same issue and I have to restart the game each time.
If I do not restart I get no dialog audio from in game characters or world quest talking heads. Background audio, effects and DBM sounds are fine though.
After the small update tonight, the cutscene dialogue is working for me now. Dialogue after the cutscene is still working too.
Just had the same thing happen, Did the cinematic where he got yeeted and halfway through it all voice lines went silent. All voice lines for NPC’s also went silent. A full battle.net exit and re-launch did fix it. Probably an audio bug with Magni.
Just tested. Closed my game to be sure and re-opened, still no audio.
Maybe my game didn’t update? IDK, I have already restarted it a couple of times.
The latest update fixed the error. Hooray!
I can confirm I took the update at some point tonight, as the dialog for the cutscene and afterwards works now.
I had to close my bnet and re-launch it to get the update to pop, updating now, hopefully it will work now.
It’s not even playing for me at all as of now, lol.
ya, on my end, it looks like the fix from blizz was to remove the cutscene altogether, lol
TWW officially launched, and Still this issue isn’t fixed.
Not only on magni cinematic in heart chamber, also in MANY Cinematics around TTW campaing.
several of the campaign cutscenes break the audio now.
I’m also having this issue one the in-game cinematic that takes place in The Edicts quest. I’ve tried disabling all add-ons, restarting my client, and even clearing my cache based on older posts, but nothing appears to work.
It happens to me too. Need to restart everything. This bug should be fixed now. How is it possible it’s still here. I didn’t get this for all the cinematics for the early access. Why it happens now?
It happens to me after another cinematic!! Fix it please now. Playing with this bug is really annoying and I can’t enjoy the story with this because it happens for every cinematic.
Edit: so after checking wowhead, it seems these cinematics are full bugged
Yep reached these and had it happen to me too. Why this keeps happening is beyond me but it’s really irritating. Especially in this Worldsoul Saga which is so centered on storytelling.
And here we go again…
What is the meaning of that? Can’t we enjoy the story anymore now? All custscenes will be like this now, without voices?
