No dialog audio during Magni's cinematic in the Heart chamber

Update to this, I just had all dialog break again as soon as the Radiant Echoes event started in Searing Gorge while I was already present in the zone.

ion it broke all dialogue audio in-game. No click reactions, no voice lines from Jaina and Thrall following this, nothing. Toggling Dialog audio off and back on did not fix it.

It has just happened to me too, and it seems only a full game restart resolves it

Same here, trying a scan & repair to see if that works. Someone in another thread said that worked for them. So not doing this on any of my alts until this gets fixed.

EDIT: Re-launching the game did fix it, finally. Re-logging without a re-launch does not.

EDIT 2: A guildie just confirmed that they experienced the exact same behavior (no dialog in cutscene, and all dialog audio broken afterwards, requiring a client restart).

The same thing is happening to me right after the chamber.

i then joined a nzoth mount run and all the voice audio didnt work. ill try resettin everything after to see if that fixes it

edit: doing a /reload seems to of fixed it

Same issue, and all of the other voices turned off as well. Restarting the game does bring the voices back online, but I tried the Magni cutscene again and still no go. I tried restarting before the cutscene and still no go on dialogue for cutscene.

scan and repair not needed, just fully close the game and client, then reopen, fixed. Also, for alts, you can just skip the cutscene immediately and the audio wont break.

this still happen after the cinematic with magmi dont have sound, dialogue sound die on the game and u need to reset it to recover dialogue sound

For me, dialog audio stopped at the start of the cinematic and never returned - all NPC interactions failed to play barks, etc.

Same thing happened to me for retail. In a shocking turn of events, I had the same issue on PTR/Beta.

Just wanted to add it happened to me, too, and thanks to your comment logging all the way out and restarting the game also fixed it for me. Thank you!

There is a client update that just came out at 5:30 pm pst, that fixed it for me after restarting did nothing.
