You guys have no dev team for Classic do you? That’s why you’ve fixed none of the bugs, you’ve made no changes and allow AV to be exploited, you’ve banned none of the bots etc.
We’ve heard exactly zero dev response on any issue… because there are no devs… Activision didn’t allot any devs for Classic WoW, and we are playing an MMO on autopilot…

They made it a cash cow and were too cheap to hire someone for community outreach.
By the way, it would take ~3k subs for ONE MONTH to maintain the salary of someone that would actually talk to the community. Imagine how many subs would’ve been saved for MONTHS if a billion dollar company had the foresight to hire someone that actually cared about the well being of the game.

I could literally hire a brain dead monkey paying him in rotten bananas and it would still provide a better community response than what the Classic team has given so far.
Are you kidding? An intern could freaking read some community discussions, take notes, and attend meetings to go over community discussions. Also you think there isnt someone already doing that? Of course they read their forums.
Dev team? The game is already developed. They have some kind of maintenance team probably.
It’s not an excuse. It’s the only option they have. If they started adding changes like transmog the entire playerbase would collapse. They can’t add features that didn’t exist in Vanilla.
Doing even minor things sets a dangerous precedent that could destroy the delicate balance. Way less people are going to complain about it being the same than people will complain about it being different.

We have zero representation at Blizz for Classic.
Nobody’s asking for a mod to respond to the morons trolling every topic, just post an update about the release schedule sooner than 1 week before it drops.

Step 1: refuse to moderate forum and let it become toxic cesspool
Step 2: blame toxicity of forum for absence of moderators
Step 3: enjoy white knights, who claim forum is “heavily moderated”
they have like 6 why do they need a dev team to release old content?
They have guys who maintain it.
They have, in fact, done some bug fixes. Not as many as most of us would like for sure, though.

Whatever they’re paying them, it’s clearly too much.
Also, after seeing the facts on Jack the Monkey, I’m 100% convinced he would do better than this team running Classic.

Hey, I don’t disagree that the game is in kind of a mess right now. They dropped AV right at the beginning of the holiday season and then they all left the office, leaving the game to fester. And now there’s no comment at all.
