There is No destrution warlock T2 or T1 set. Destruction is the only class that can reliably bring MoC and Pact and we have no set. More than half of all logs are destruction warlock logs and we didn’t get a set. Why? Mage can have frost and fire but we cant get Destruction and affliction sets. Why?

You have a dps set like all other classes seriously this is not retail you dont jeed customized gear sets

My main is a tank shaman…bliz keeps itemizing our sets with defense which is almost worthless instead of things like parry dodge hit or crit
Defense gives offensive stats to Tanks though

At a horrible exchange rate… a item would have 34 spell dmg but the tank item will have like 7 to 10 def which is 14 to 20 spell dmg the only thing shaman tank gear has going for it is high stamina
You’re free to wear the flimsier gear for the more SP, but don’t act like Defense provides nothing.
Just go affliction destro support and chaos bolt are cheeks right now
It basically provides nothing if you were to stack it to 440 (which would be crit immune if not for way of earth) that only gives 5.4% dodge parry and miss and 280 spell dmg btw you cant reach that number without sacraficing a ton in classic… defense for a shaman is just as bad as defense for a warlock its not needed and other stats would be 2x better
The “set for everything” play style is boring.
Need to gear up? Ah just put on the set! Screw non-set gear, who cares!

Hyperbolic dismissal is not going to get you anywhere.
It isn’t that it isn’t needed, it is that Warlocks get to stack spell crit, which comes on non-Tank gear more abundantly, and gain absurd passive avoidance. This is especially true if they’re in full world buffs. A warlock loses a ton of survivability if they lose world buffs and they can’t pull off shenanigans as easily.
It’s a problem they have MoC and SF on the boot slot, especially since the T2 sets are focused solely on Affliction locks. Hope raids don’t want CoR / MoC. Cause its going to be upwards of 30% DPS difference between support and Aff lock next tier if nothing changes.
I made a similar thread. Everything is focused towards affliction, and I also don’t understand the felguard bonuses cause affliction would use UA and Destro would use Incinerate… so who is using felguard?
T1 bonuses at least helped you regardless of spec.
As it stands, I personally can’t go affliction cause I have to bring the support runes (which should be books).

They 100% need to make MoC a book, Especially if Aff is going to be the only complete Spec with tier sets.
