I’m not upset about lack of automated LFG or long maintenance times. But the lack of communication on Blizzard’s end is ridiculous. Why hasn’t there been an update as to why the maintenance is going to take all day? Why haven’t they done an AMA or hopped on twitch to discuss the reasoning behind no automated LFG. The lack of communication is frankly an insult to the subscribers.

I really just want to know what to expect when the servers come back off maintenance. If this is purely because there are a ton of bugs that need to be fixed, or a few that require extended time - then let us know so we can cheer you on. There seems to be no reason as to why the subscriber base is kept in the dark.

Because the logistics of working on C++ code is probably lost on a lot of people?

They’ve done both of these…

You aren’t really entitled to know that information. If they’re taking the game down, it’s for good reason. Do you think they just randomly decided on a whim to have an extended maintenance for no reason? Why would they do that?

The game is on maintenance mode, they wanted to make as much profit as possible off the Wrath hype and Lv 70 boosts and then they went completely radio silent after.

The fact that even aside from RDF we’ve had bugs since launch and some of them causing Arena to lose participation due to how bad it is atm shows the state of this game.

They got their money and they don’t care.

Entitled? No. I agree we aren’t entitled that information. We purchase it, monthly. (or in other time increments.)

For a company that’s been through the ringer in the past few years PR-wise. You’d expect some transparency and communication.

Why would they give you detailed information about their proprietary software so all you keyboard warriors can attack them?

Nope. You pay for access to servers when they are up, nothing else.

You should actually read the EULA you agreed to.

You don’t need to know anything other than there is maintenance today and servers are expected to be up by 3pm PST.

If Classic players allowed Bizz to put a Casino/Mobile Style Cash Shop in the game you would get some communication, instead we get WOTLK Re-forged maintenance mode.
