Insane damage (top 3 atm), more utility than any other dps class, good defenses, mobility is amazing and will get better in shadowlands.
There’s zero counters to its buffs or debuffs, at least with things like dark soul you can dispel, line of sight, interrupt, etc, without having to use a wall like ability, with avatar you either bust wall or die thru it. Not to mention you only have 80% effective health, before you instantly die to execute
Seriously why bring another melee over warrior going forward.
He’s talking prepatch. At 60, warrior is maybe “B” tier behind rogues, sv hunters, death knights, demon hunters, etc etc. Once you take our azerite traits away, arms warrior will be mostly a rot spec with a nerfed MS effect 25% in pvp.
Kill stuff in a Bladestorm and have Second wind. Oh also intervene root break.
They moving in the right direction though in SL giving them abilities again. To be fair they should have second wind but rather they nerf all Dps healing down to Arms warrior lvl instead.
Even if you ignore spear of bastion on beta arms warrior trucks damage and has access to a very broad utility kit. They are definitely in a position to be high tier this expansion.
