NO CHANGES. Change it, we won't play.

lol no... YOU won't play. Others will however.

NO further restrictions towards addon APIs
NO arena
NO esports
NO rated BG
NO raid re-tuning
NO class re-balancing
NO aoe-looting
No anti-cheat that blocks wall climbing (I want to see mount hyjal)

I'm looking forward to you not playing.
Transmog is not an objective improvement to the game. Some people dislike it. I want to know what armor someone is wearing by looking at it
You truly dont know what vanilla was like then. I respect your point but disagree greatly.
I very much disagree with some of these.

Please treat this as a remaster and a way to update models/graphics which can then be put in live and classic.

The appeal of classic is not its look... which was sort of awful, tbh. The graphics are a major downside to Classic. You have an opportunity to renovate classic and draw people in and also finally update Live. New players coming into WoW are met with 2005 graphics.

Transmog is something I would also very much like to see in Classic.

Transmog is what destroyed the uniqueness of WoW. Do you not remember going into a major city and staring at someone in full tier 2 and it actually meant something. It made you respect them because they put forth time and effort to get that gear.
'no anit-cheat'

Uhh buddy?
They'll make the changes. I was kind of on the fence until I asked myself if there's a reason I should just abandon it altogether.

On the patch where they gave twinks exactly what they had been asking for, xp-locks, they killed the entire community in one fell swoop.

They targeted my favorite part of the game. They targeted me. They said "this game is not for you."

That answered my question. Why support someone who obviously doesn't want you to?
This idiot is a troll.
Cya
If phasing/sharding are in I absolutely 100% won't play.

NO further restrictions towards addon APIs
NO LFD/LFR

Anyone else see a problem here?

I never respected anyone because of their gear.

I don't see that attitude returning for Classic.
I always wonder when people say they don't want any of the "Anti-cheat" software so that they can wall jump and sneak into hyjal and the IF airport and such. I mean the GMs already don't want to be there, they never wanted this project to begin with so you're really just going to make sure you piss them off and they slap you with that exploitation ban huh? After 14 years you already know they'll be scoping those places out just looking for the fools trying to test em.

I have added it. stop whining about no changes.

I'm trying to. It's just so many people seem totally satisfied with the Demo because it's 'kinda' like Vanilla, that I feel I should speak up. Trust me, I don't want to.

I just want to chill and if I enjoy Classic when it comes out, I'll play it. No big deal. There's another game franchise I love and it's making a game 3 of a series I'd put another 2000 hours into easy even if game 3 wasn't coming out next year.

I also question whether Blizzard will really put the time into tweaking every inconsistency throughout the entire gameworld in just a year or less? Every creature in the demo has wrong stats, the players all have the wrong numbers, etc. Then there's bigger things like nothing moves the same as it did in Vanilla: systems like that that may get a small review, but will never be the same.

Blizzard does not fine tune the main game that closely so that all the low level content is engaging and feels good. Why would they do it for Classic? Classic isn't going to even be a seperate fee.

I think the game will come out, loaded with inconsistencies. And Blizzard will patch it over years. And why? Because people have started to cave in on changes, one by one, just to get the 'taste' of Vanilla.

w/e I know this was troll thread. But after reading a bunch of other threads on similar issue, this is the one that actually makes some sense. At least it's intentionally missing the mark.

I'm not paying for sharding and loot trading for sure. And to prove it I won't have an active sub unless they do it right and prove it. So you guys put your money where your mouth is and don't sub to show em how adamant we are about such changes. The retail kiddies paying subs anyways are of little consequence to classic.

I'm thinking, best case scenario, Classic is 'kinda' like Vanilla, and another studio looks at it, and realizes they can make something like it. That new game will feel fresh.
Wall of NO 2.0
The people that want classic want classic, the reason we are told this is being done is to go back to the beginning. Changing this stuff is not going to satisfy the people that want it.. people that never played it or have to have their epics within 5 minutes of logon won't change. They can go play retail instead, not classic.

I pray to Strabunka that they leave classic as it was.

Especially loot trading cannot happen... its a terrible system, it makes people feel like they should be constantly giving their drops away, instead of sharding, selling or what ever else they would like, but more importantly it makes gearing up happen to quickly. Its a slower paced lifestyle in classic, leave it that way please.

Its the world of azeroth with us playing in it, no esport need apply.. slow it down and these things aren't welcome.

The loot trade option is to relieve support and to fix the master loot problem where an item goes to the wrong person. Sharding and selling can happen if no one else needs the item. This is for BoP items.
