OP you part are of the prochange crowd. Blizzard is running classic on modern tech that is a change, if you are a truly a no change supporter you would be protesting the use of new tech. :) Feel free to justify being a nochanger while letting blizzard use modern day tech its ok no one will hate you or tell others your shameful secret.

No modern tech
No colorblind mode
No bug fixing
No 1.12 at launch

No calling Dire Maul DM
If people constantly ask changes in order to ruin classic, I will vote YES to remove classic.

What is your stance on ansenapine?
If no changes they should probably unbundle it as original vanilla wow wasn't bundled with legion/bfa.
Most of what you posted is so far outside of the realm of reality and the devs themselves have already said most of your list isn't in, which makes most of your OP irrelevant and pointless, but im sure someone will lap it up because its long, and looks super srs like you are writing a new declaration for pioneers of a new land.

Its kind of lame honestly, but uh, yeah most of what you wrote we don't have. We just may have water we can toggle and stuff.. Its really uh... not that serious.. but hey you go get em tiger! maybe go see a doctor.

To what? Cookie recipes? Rick leaving Walking Dead? Opening up Schrodinger's Box and letting out the cat (if it is still alive)?

This is everything that MAY be a possibility in Classic, depending on how things play out:

NO server cap above 2500 - They can make the server caps as high as they want, because they aren't gonna make 200+ Classic servers, period.

NO sharding - if there is any sharding, it will only exist for a very limited time at launch to ensure stability. They have NO PLANS WHATSOEVER to have sharding around longer than necessary, and hopefully it WON'T be necessary.

NO loot trading - the 2 hour window for loot trading is going to be in classic, they confirmed this.

Everything else is confirmed, 100%, to not be a feature in classic, because some of us read the Creating WoW Classic Panel.

New models should absolutely be included, as well as things like transmog. The charm of vanilla had nothing to do with its aesthetic appeal, and everything to do with it being a breathing, organic world which encouraged strong communities to develop. That's what needs to be kept intact, but anything purely aesthetic should be brought up to 2018 standards as that has been pure, unadulterated, objective improvement over vanilla.

This. And this is exactly what will happen if blizzard wants it to be successful.

200+ classic servers save more resources than 20 mega servers if you do things right. A server is just a console program. You can run multiple servers on a same machine. No problem at all.

NO sharding - if there is any sharding, it will only exist for a very limited time at launch to ensure stability. They have NO PLANS WHATSOEVER to have sharding around longer than necessary, and hopefully it WON'T be necessary.

NO any sharding. Even at launch NO. AddOns like WQGF could do 1000000x better than CRZ, sharding etc etc. There is no point to add !@#$ty things when a much better solution could be implemented without changes.

No. The door is open. As long as they add sharding, lfd/lfr is not very far from it since sharding is worse than lfd/lfr imo.

False. WoD/Legion/BFA sucks because of new models. If they put new models into classic, classic will be ruined as well.

The one thing they stressed more than anything else was their desire to "preserve the integrity of the social dynamics" of 2006, which is why we will NEVER see a dungeon finder in Classic.

Also, and I can't stress this enough, the only reason they would use sharding is to ensure stability during the first weeks of the game. Once the Tourists who just want to taste Classic leave, sharding will be gone, if they even use it to begin with. They don't want to use it.

You, and all the purists out there, are just going to have to accept the fact that Blizzard has to rebuild a lot of data from scratch, since some of it was lost or corrupted. There are going to be some minor changes.
