No CD BM Build

Azortharion pops up in my Youtube recommended channel occasionally and he’s experimenting with a Dire Beast focused M+ build. Converts points from Call of the Wild into Dire Beast and all it’s interactions, supposedly it increases the Packleader Bear DoT

Yeah its being discussed on the discord atm.

I havent looked much into it.

Also heard a rumor that 1 minute build with bloodshed and 4 piece is better but also no proof to that either.

I love dire beast so I just pulled the ripcord and ran keys with it last night. I’m curious how sims will compare now.

How did it feel?

I was toying around with the bloodshed build in raid last night.

Less bursty but more sustained. I think there will be some fights you use cotw build and some you run bloodshed.

This basically sums up the build, ran a +7 Motherlode and we ++ it for perspective: I’m not a god gamer by any means and my crit is much lower than I would like but I was pulling ~3-4m dps every pull.

The other dps had a big difference between CD available pulls and no CD pulls and was top damage in overall at the end. Beast Cleave raw output was a noticeable difference. Boss damage was understandably lower since we traded CoTW/Killer Instinct for Huntmasters Call essentially

How was boss damage?

Tried to edit my previous to include boss damage before you saw lol it wasn’t tragically lower but Huntmasters doesn’t equal out to having CoTW and Killer Instinct value

Did a few keys, seems fine, but I feel like the main gain is from people playing around getting bear for big packs and possibly holding off from proc’in it (which ppl haven’t been doing as much prev)

That’s being discussed for pure ST, and while it’s not better for most on pure sims, it’s very close so depending on fights can be more consistent / useful.

True. Were you holding bear for bosses at all?

I would try to make a conscious effort to hold Bear for when the adds are all grouped up on pulls but it never really lined up for bosses

Would holding bear for bosses help with Bosses?

I guess it depends on group buildup. Generally now I’m strong most big pulls with CDs and bosses while some what lower on non cd pulls

I guess the build smooths out the lower end with no CDs. Was just worried about boss damage too.

I can imagine on fights where bigger burst is needed 2 minute would pull ahead depending on timings.

I did run the original bloodshed build last night (as I couldn’t find the build and it has one point difference removing one from scent of blood and putting it in kill command.

Cool. Thanks for the info.

I ran a 8 PSF last night with that build. Damage was good overall, I noticed in the Detail overall that the most damage was done by my bear, a few % above my main pet.
Also I do not have the 4 pieces set yet (2/4 keeping catalyst charges for heroic pieces) 654 iLevel. This build has good potential.

Same for me, the bear DoT is ahead by a large margin
