I mean that is one way to make sure Quel’thalas does not need to be updated. Just sink it in a mini sundering.
Even if they did something like that, it would not work in a world where they could just move to Suramar and eat some magic addiction curing fruit.
Blood elves are pretty much atheists much like the Nightborne. So priesthood is not a big part of their culture. It makes sense after the debacle with Umbric that the void is officially banned from the public.
That’s not true at all. Liadrin was a priest and led their order of the Church of the Holy Light before the Third War. She became a paladin in BC and after the Sunwell was restored by the heart of Mu’uru the Blood Elves have become more fervent in their devotions to the Light especially her Blood Knights.
The Blood Elves like all elves are religious, but instead of Elune they worship the Light/Sun aesthetic and have priesthood dedicated to their faith.

I haven’t seen any religious buildings in Silvermoon. And no I don’t count the blood knight hall since that is just a glorified training place for new knights.
Blood/High Elves are Light worshipers. It’s been established since 2002. We have High Elven clerics in Warcraft 3 and we have them in Vanilla and BC. We know the Blood Elves have a priest hall in the hall just before you enter to see Lor’themar. There’s a priest trainer right in the hall, and obviously the Blood Knight training hall since the end of BC is a collection of Light worshiping paladins. Redeemed in the Light to enact its will against those who stand against Silvermoon.
When was the last time you played a Blood Elven priest?

I don’t play priests ever. Also Sunfury is the palace and not a temple.
Dude! You just admitted you don’t know. There is a room for priests.
the light has no place in the Horde.
You play a Blood Elf one of the most devoted races to the Light. Smh
The light is a religion for the humans and Draenei.
The elves are also Light worshippers. Did you not do the Sunwell raid?

The High Elves/Blood Elves never really worshipped the Sun, as much as they just ‘praised’ the sun to be contrarians, they wanted to set themselves apart from their roots which was the Night Elves, so going the direct opposit was fitting.
Sun worship is for the tauren. Then again, the tauren worships every aspect of nature, Sun, Moon, Elements, believing in the balance of all things.

Incidentally Priests now have the Venthyr Death Magic Spell Mindgames.
All 3 Priest Specs have it showing that even the Priests who avoid Void Magic for an otherwise pure Light Spec are willing to dabble in the 1 type of Death Magic that the Light is the sworn enemy of.
If the sunwell did blow up I would have it disenchant the blood elven zones and create a vibrantly alien colored desert(inspired by enchanting materials).
I think you could do a lot with an environment/biome like that.
Which is fairly new in their society. It is no widespread and limited to the paladin order.
Light worship was actually quite common among High Elves before the scourge invasion. Being paladins, however, was very rare for the High Elves.
So light worship was not at all limited to the paladin order, it was quite widespread outside of any paladin order in Quel’thalas. Blood Elves having a lot of Paladins is quite a new thing though.

No it wasn’t. Not even the dwarfs are fully light converted and they had contact with the humans for longer than the elves did.
You did not play the Warcraft RTS games much, did you?
Priests were represented by the High Elves, suggesting a fairly heavy number. While they are largely an arcane based society, the light also had a rather strong presence in High Elven society.
This is established long ago.
The humans were more devout, that is true. But light worship was common among High Elves too. But many lost faith following the scourge invasion, including Liadrin.

Exactly and when the Sunwell was reignited the fervency once felt by the Thalassians was restored with new vigor. This is why we have Blood Elf priests of the Holy Light.
