Which is why the suggestion would be reworking BGs into not being a death, but like losing a duel. You just drop to 1 hp and are removed from the BG. Or you drop to 1hp and are taken to a first aid tent.

I’ll add more context: Death is permanent, even in PvP.

Not really an issue if BGs don’t award EXP.
