Vulpera get an opinion, it’s just that most of the time it’s ignored because their voice doesn’t reach us from down there.
I’d rather not see “tourist” players in the Beta. Actual testers would be nice. Why should they give you beta access if you don’t care enough about the game to sub it?

I don’t think being subscribed is required to enter beta. Beta invites usually go to people that have cleared end game content in recent expansions that’s the feedback they are looking for. They also promote their game by giving popular streamers beta access.
I have played wow since 2007 and never once been invited to a beta.
With the exception of streamers beta invites are pure RNG. I’ve only ever gotten one. Would I like to get into this one? Yeah actually I would because Shadowland is looking pretty good to me and I’d like to check out the class changes especially. But if I don’t get one? Oh well, it is what it is.
Hmmmmmmm maybe I should invest in a camera and microphone and start screaming and see if I can get lucky and people actually find me entertaining and then if I get big enough blizz will always give me alpha and beta invites! I’m going to go buy a lottery ticket today too.
If it would mean the game would be absolutely amazing, I’d happily wait another year. I don’t want WoW to become Call of Duty or FIFA.
Doesn’t sound like you’re really deserving of a beta invite anyway, OP. Beta is for testing and reporting bugs, not because you’re bored and want to play the new shiny things. Go do something else.

I have NEVER cleared endgame content in a current expansion and I have been invited to four previous betas.
And yes i also believe a sub is required.

They have their best working on mobile games, don’t worry.
I don’t see why people are in such a hurry to get into beta. End up burning yourself out before the expansion is actually out.

You dont need active sub for beta or even alpha. In legion i didnt have sub and had beta bfa etc access. Unless it changed.

BfA was a bad systems expansion. It had nothing to do with rushing it. It was a result of bad choices and not listening to early player feedback.
I’ve not seen any correllation between release time and the quality of content. Patches and expansions always go through enormously long alpha/beta periods.
