Absolutely agree that classic must not be changed. But classic season of mastery might as well be an experiment. The game exists currently without changes.
100% leave Era servers for the die hard ppl who want to play “the meta” and zugzug while thinking they are good. SoM has room for more changes and Blizz even said so themselves.
I don’t understand everyones aggression regarding Blizzards changes. They’ve literally said keep the feedback coming and they’ll look into everything as they go - they’re still figuring out how this will work themselves. The fact that there hasn’t been an announcement about balancing doesnt necessarily = no balancing coming at all. There is still time for them to address classes and look at a gentle balance here and there to make more specs viable.
I understand people saying that ‘this isnt the classic experience we wanted’ but Blizzard have never ever stated that this is a ‘fresh classic’ venture. It’s specifically called Season of Mastery for that exact reason - it’s classic but with #slightlymorechanges, and that’s it. You’re absolutely right in saying that this isn’t what vanilla was like - but that’s exactly what their design goal is: for it to NOT be pure vanilla this time around.

I’ve got money on blizzard reads the forums and sees how divided we are ad they just don’t know how to move forward.

Exactly this. Top dps, warrior, rogues, mages, can finish a boss fight under 60 seconds with healer MP to spare, and caster MP to spare, but everyone else is OOM… and according to Psychotik, being able to complete a boss fight with middle of the pack dps, not even chart topping, as a boomkin, Ele, Enh, shadow/smite priest, ret paladin, feral cat, is too much to ask. haha

he’s a low iq boomer that can’t learn anything new and wants to flex in a 17 year old game that nobody even gives a flying !@#$ about anymore… so yeah, of course he does. It’s the only thing he excels at in life because it’s braindead easy. He doesn’t understand that other people quit because it’s so easy that it’s boring, not because they couldnt do it, so he wears the wasted decade and a half (lol) of braindead button clicking like a badge of honor.

I don’t want to “flex” on anyone. I want to play vanilla classic on a fresh new server with slight modifications, like removing the cancerous WB meta. And that’s exactly what I’m getting. Is Blizzard designing the game just for little old me? No, they are designing it for a market, and this is what the market wants. Like it or not.
Some of you need to realize and accept that SoM just isn’t made for you. You are not the target audience.

The classic playerbase is who this game is designed to target. We played the game, we all screamed no changes at the top of our lungs and after classic realised we were wrong. So now we are asking for changes because we know about the game because we played it.
Once again you didn’t play it, and have shown time and time again that you haven’t got the slightest bit of knowledge about the game. Having 60% of a raid stacked with 2 classes isn’t fun. There are 9 classes in this game and I’m positive over half the population doesn’t want to be forced into rolling 2 of the 9 potential classes.

Exactly And that’s why I keep pushing and saying they just need to give us wrath classes it’s the easiest way we know everybody was fixed.
Think of all the time and effort it would take for blizzard to have to go through classes and then to cough cough balance.
Or they could just say you know what we know wrath is where everybody was fixed all these issues are addressed We reduce their player power by giving them 60 instead of 71.
But we still know all the core problems of those specs/classes are is Flash classes are fixed I can give a huge one Hey you know what drew its Ah don’t just have a battle raz.
Is every single tank has a taunt Is the manner issues in boomkin and rat are fixed And shaman’s too.
The list goes on All the class problems are literally solved and although there’s no such thing as perfect balance.
Wrath of the litchking overall Has had the best balance in pve
