Sad. I was lucky enough to get it, but I don’t agree with the 1% drop rate it had, that was apparently NOT part of the 1st day buffed drop rate OR the cruses buffed drop rate.
Seriously people are ticked about the 1% mount drop rates. So they double… No TRIPLE down on the 1% drop rate for the manuscript, and the pet, THEN just buff the mount drop rate. Overall sad.
Sat in que early in the holiday for 45 minutes. When it finally popped it immediately cancelled and put me back in the que. Dropped and decided then I didn’t need the pet.
I truly wonder how many of those people really got it on their 1st attempt or just came in here to rub it in. I am more willing to believe more came to gloat than actually got it like that.
I know Arfus dropped for me on my 166th attempt and the saddle on my 181st attempt. I kept running it until the end tanking and healing so others not fortunate enough could still attempt to get it. I know at least 6 people got it after me and I started tracking.
Other than my 1st attempt I really didn’t do the whole 4 curse thing and I really wonder how many people got it curses verse no curses. I know when on my tanks there where a lot of low / no heals oh my god I need to use my Lay of Hands to stay alive moments, and only 1 wipe on a DPS, that poor tank died twice in the same pull, and he had 830k health.
I still don’t have the horse or arfus yet.

After reading all the comments I can conclude that most of the people commenting in the ‘No Arfus Club’ actually have the pet Arfus. If their comments are truthful then many got the pet fairly easily and in early runs (as they did in the Wowhead comments)
I just want to verbalise my disappointment at Blizzard on this one. I have 1661 unique pets. & 858 toys. To put a new pet behind a time gated dungeon is ridiculous. And then make it a fairly common drop for many people and yet almost zero drop for others is beyond belief
I ran the Headless Horseman Dungeon 225 times on 15 level 70 characters. On the first 5 occasions I always had the 4 Wickerman Curses active. The next 10 I decided not to. There was absolutely nothing more I could have done to get the pet
My 4 tanks and 1 healer got instant access to the dungeon. However the DPS often had to wait up to 25 minutes. This has been such a horrible experience I have decided to take a break from the game I have played for so long. I will not be purchasing the ‘12-Month Subscription Offer’ from the shop under ‘Special Offer’
Blizzard you must do better than this or more people will leave the game seeking more enjoyable alternatives
What annoys me is one of the biggest strategy creators for pet battles is quitting the game and the final nail for them was not getting Arfus.
Who is an actually good pet in battle to boot, which makes the rarity stupid.
Wait Blizzard plays there own game? For real? I didn’t know they had WoW on there home computers.
Oh well guess we will dump the frustration salt here and move on. 
Yikes. A company typically shouldn’t want to upset the players promoting their game. They can build you up pretty quickly, but they can tear you down just as fast.

Someone needs to explain why Arfus is crushing dreams, stealing souls and casting despair on so many.

I got mine 20 minutes before hallow’s end finished.
I actually got mine on the first run of my last day to be able to do it.
I mean I think it’s a tad of a stretch to compare the Mythic World First Race to getting Arfus. I also think she might possibly be wrong when she says that Arfus will be required but who knows.
The cynical part of me thinks this just to get more subscribers and views on her videos because she doesn’t seem to get much of either.
for the record, i went 200 tries and never saw Arfus, but yeah a lot of people got to quit this club…which is awesome and i am all for it
next year maybe i can join the Arfus Club =/
