I just looked at the preview page for ardenweald, and they don’t show any mail armor set? Like they specifically mention hunters as some of the mortal souls that might end up in ardenweald and yet they don’t show off an armor set for hunters. I assume there is actually a set right? Is it just too bad for blizz to show off?
You know the game doesn’t launch tomorrow, right?
They have more than enough time to add whatever is currently missing.

The blog preview doesn’t show all of the sets. This is the night fae mail one in its current state.

The Revendreth preview also didn’t show mail armor.
I think they’re just purposefully leaving out sets from the preview.
That said, all the covenant sets have been datamined at this point, sooo

I hope they carry that awesome plate appearance to the rest of the armor types. Leather is so underwhelming compared to the plate ;-;

Personally I’m a big fan of the mail set. I like the leaf motif, especially on the chest, shoulders, and legs. But I do seem to be in the minority on this one.

It’s “ok” but not the best mail set…like this isn’t even what you imagine when you think “mail set”. Necrlords still 100% in the lead.
Yes I am aware that shadowlands isn’t finished yet. But I don’t see why they would officially show 3 of 4 armor class sets for two covenants. It’s great that the sets are on wowhead, but that’s not official.
The inspiration of the mail set looks better.

A week or two ago all they had of ardenweald armor was the leather spiral headpiece and some textures. I assume they are still working on it.
That actually looks fairly badass. My troll hunter will appreciate it, my mechagnome will continue to wear his heritage though.

Might want to check out the Kyrian set. It might work on a Mechagnome fairly well.
