As the time for Classic release gets closer, I find myself with no ambition to play any other games. I tried a vanilla pserver to fill the void as I waited, but lost interest around level 20 because lets face it, pservers are just not good enough. Anyone else have this problem? Because all I find myself doing these days is scouring the forums for information, and getting my addons and stuff in the correct places for the stress test

Use your anticipation energy for Classic WoW to motivate you to get tasks done around your home NOW. Once Classic drops, yer butt will be tied to yer chair and nothing will get done.
Knock out that big list of ToDos – it will clear your calendar when Classic comes and help the time pass more quickly.

I have been playing WoT with my friends while waiting. Pushing Tier 7 right now as TD.
That’s what i’ve been trying to do but there’s literally nothing to do but sit here and ponder lol

I’ve been cleaning my office for 3 weeks, and estimate another 3 weeks before completion. (August 26th deadline)
Exactly this. I’ve been doing more things, spending more time away from the PC.
I agree with you Quagz. I’ve said this before but every single game is a Classic WoW Waiting Room™. I don’t feel as motivated climb up the ladder, unlock all the missions (new PUBG pass), and so on. I find myself lingering here at home and work all the time. I keep watching raid fights as well to remind myself too.

I’ve been absolutely loving pserver. I’ll leave it for Classic to be sure but for now, it’s the most fun I’ve had in ages.
I’ve been mostly not playing WoW, but I finally logged back in and decided to get 2 more alts to 120, just in case I want to play them in the next expac.
Other than that, I’ve been debating whether I’m wanting to level Alliance or Horde and what 2 classes I’ll pick first. Back in Vanilla, my first classes were rogue and mage because I thought they looked the most challenging. This time, I’m considering Hpriest, hunter, shaman and lock.

I’ve been playing Heroes of the Storm a lot while I wait. And getting housework done. I’ll probably resub on the 12th so I can get my name reservation in. I thought about resubbing early but what’s the point, really?
The only reason im resubbing before the 12th is to see what addons work and such with the stress test
Haha I think most of us on the Classic forums are in the same boat. The struggle is real for 22 more days. At least you can inject yourself with a stress test in a few days. 
Not quite on ‘let’s go on a private server’ level, but sort of on the same boat. I feel like online games these days for PC are so lackluster. I built a powerful PC and I find myself just playing Teamfight Tactics half the time. Greatly looking forward to a game I can sink time into and maintain interest in – if my raiding days in vanilla are any indication, WoW Classic should do it until Borderlands 3 and eventually Cyberpunk 2077 steal me away for a while.

I haven’t played a game since Nov. 28, 2018 while waiting for Classic. I got a lot of things done since then… made enough money to last me a lifetime. I’m breaking records here with every new day of not playing video games. GL
